Yup it's fine I'm wearing pam 44 mm/ hublot 44 mm on a 6.5 inch wrist and it fits and feel fine.44mm PAM on a 7 inch wrist.
It's obviously a chunky watch but i think it wears quite comfortably.
I've always thought it looked a bit big but my gf thinks it's okay so i'm trusting her judgement.

See AP ROO are both 42mm and the rolex submariner is 40mm
The rolex is 37mm.

I guess I'm shifting to the smaller 36mm to 40mm range comfort zone.
The 6263 are very comfortable. I'm thinking of a franken DJ 36.
