Not sure. I did not install the movement myself. But I can remember there was something to do with a H4 cannon pinion to have the hands on the correct height, similar to the gen. Maybe some other member can help you there.
But what I do know is that there is no problem installing 2824 or 2836 movements in your TC watch, I had both in different watches.
Also I don't think you can change the crown position on the TC submariner.
2834/2836 in a TC will have a bad stem height. The really early wm9 or tw best came with a 2836 but honestly i'd take the slow date cross over a incorrect stem height any day

Maybe you received a special treatment because Elaborè is 50$ plus the standard price

Yeah I know in the past people have not paid extra for elabore but received one anyway. Must be that's what they had on hand. Makes you wonder if it really has a higher cost otherwise that would be eating into profit

Are you sure of this guys? Because it's from the V6 + V2 PA bezel comes out that i do not see more TC with a different movement than Elabore.

He send the list during the purchase with entire watch description and its components and he mentioned the elabore movement in both watches that i had purchased , and I've never had to add anything to the standard cost ...

I asked a friend and he confirmed this to me with two of his purchases of TC LN and LV V7.

He didn't send me a list of parts or description of the watch.

My brand new tc v7x elaborè was requested. He give me the dropdown list with all the options for LN and LV V7 version.
I can guarantee that is 50$ more in the price. Maybe he simply provide you the price with elaborè without options.

I just received my V7x Ln and did not specify any particular movement. It arrived with the standard movement . I'm so upset that I think I'm going to keep onto this piece for a long time...

Wouldn't bother about it, they're all clones, a gen Swiss ETA in good nick will run rings round both of them!

With my old V6 he write to me all spec that it had like this example:

Tc V6:
-dwo v4
-v6 bracelet
-pa bezel with V2 insert
-tc v2 hands
-elabore movement

Etc etc...

Don't know, but in both of this mine recent version (V6 with pa and V7) i have elaborè movement inside without pay extra. But i'm the first that had V7 from TC on the forum, so something could be changed then.

Like I said before I think if they have no standard movements on hand they use elabore instead.

My standard movement is running at +3to5secs a day. Thats better than my gen 14060M.

Wouldnt worry too much about the elabore.
