V6 LV I picked up last spring. Ready to order a V7 Extreme next.

Guess who just got their TC 16610 LN V7 Extreme in the mail... it took some patience and waiting, but it arrived so much earlier than I expected, so I really can't complain. Pictures and most likely a thread will follow tomorrow!!!

Little teaser for what's to come later! Stock TC 16610 LN V7 Extreme. The bezel is very nice; not hard to turn at all. The cyclops and date are spot on.

Thanks for an interesting post!
Does that mean that, unless I do something silly like swim with the crown loose, the watch can happily withstand a quick dip in the bathtub without any further mods? That would make this rep even more worth the money.

Just catching up on this thread as mine arrived today which was a great surprise as I wasn't expecting it for another 8 weeks!

Anyway, I was chatting to Thomas about 'waterproofness' and he said that I should always avoid showering whilst wearing it because the heat and vapour is very bad, even for gens. Just thought you'd like to be aware of that. Enjoy your watch!

OK, but how is quick? If is a 2824 should be similar to the TC movement, different thing if you installed a 2836.
Or I am wrong?

Correct. If you want the quick date change you cannot use the 2824.
I went with a 2834, almost the same as a 2836, but it has the possibility to have a day at the 12 hour mark, like with the Rolex Day-Date. And it has the quick date change.

Thanks for the info!
Any difference between hand height or crown position? I was looking for info on the forum but I've not yet found the correct thread, but I remember the 2824 is more similar to a gen for crown position, hand heights, pinion etc.

Not sure. I did not install the movement myself. But I can remember there was something to do with a H4 cannon pinion to have the hands on the correct height, similar to the gen. Maybe some other member can help you there.
But what I do know is that there is no problem installing 2824 or 2836 movements in your TC watch, I had both in different watches.
Also I don't think you can change the crown position on the TC submariner.

Received my TC V7 Extreme tonight as well. Looks and feels amazing, but had a question about the bezel. It turns and sounds perfect, but it feels as if I can pop the bezel off easily with minimal finger pressure. Is this typical?
