Yea I didnt think the green would suit me either but it looks great and the maxi dial kicks arse.
I like the maxi dial and I figured if I end up not liking the green a gen ln insert is easy to do
Damnit.......I have the TC itch again and looking through this thread doesn't help. But what is a buyer supposed to do these days? TC takes forever and hardly communicates and the TCs on M2M seem to be a shit show recently.....1st world problems
It's a tough one to get a hold of. Reliable m2m tc's are sold within 20 minutes. And yeah the alternative is waiting 8 weeks for one
more like 3 month wait nowadays. he does it as a hobby not for commercial use so theres a chance he could just hang it up and say no more making watches for me!
Wow, bracelets up to $75, bezel assemblies from $85 for TWO up to $120 for one. Still within reason if you need one but going up!
That's crazy. I wonder if the prices of his watches will go up. Now that would be gen!
I figure getting a digital caliper($100), measuring my lugs, ordering the bracelet($75). Probably not worth it. Or at least I was told $100 for calipers, I didn't look.
Just put your money down and forget about it, it will arrive before you know it, I wont buy anything on M2M unless the person is super well known and respected in the community and even then no guarantees look at Rudy 40
100% agree, I only buy and sell to a handful of close friends. I would rather keep the watches then deal with the uncertainty of the M2M section nowadays. On that note I'm always game to get more TC's lol

I always thought his prices were too low. He has been very generous with his pricing, and even passed on some free parts to me at one point.
Way back when in my history here, I encouraged him to raise his prices to decrease demand. Demand is so high for his watches that I think/thought there was some elasticity in his price. I know I'm right on this; the upshot is he'd be a little less busy and perhaps have more time to devote to each build.
The crown will slip a little if you wind it, they all do. Just wind it gently.. If the crown sticks out as a flaw, you could put in a gen crown.
Personally, I'd GEN the insert and the crystal with AR. That's just me... I like the visual pleasure of looking at the date without a glare.. and the gen insert looks great.
But you could leave it alone and it'd still pass..
I didn't mean to suggest his parts were over priced. Just that I didn't yet feel the need to upgrade from a bracelet v5 to v6 for the price. I have to get digital calipers first to measure my lugs. Any suggestion on a caliper? I've seen a variety for about $20 that measure to 0.01mm.
