It clearly is. Look at that thin bezel ring. Very obvious. I didn't notice it at first until someone else in the group mentioned it. Clearly it has others fooled including you.
Very obvious? You're kidding yourself. My point is made now random people on another forum are arguing about it. Pointless

Yes. Very obvious when especially when seen with the gen. The thin ring between the bezel and crystal shows that it's probably the earlier rep of the Spectre 300 from V6F.

Top is the rep the fella posted on FB, the bottom is the gen.

do the VSF V2s have a wider bezel to match the gen?
Yes VSF fixed that flaw that V6F didn't. V6F if I remembered correctly did two versions as well. V1 had the wrong 5 font on the bezel. V2 corrected the 5 font. But both still had the thin bezel ring. VSF came out a couple of years later with theirs and fixed the flaws including a more grainier looking dial.

Really happy with the watch and the nice transaction with Hont (fast and easy), thanks for your advices on the group !
Here is a picture on gen strap as it's a beauty 🤩

To be fair: it really depends on the light source and perspective. In the end it’s a lovely rep!

Got the VSF V2, does anyone experience with a flimsy bezel mechanics? It is miles from the clicking feel of the Subs

Gen Seamasters feel the same as these.

To be fair, genuine Omega rotating bezels aren't nearly as good as Rolex. My gen Seamaster sucks compared to my VSF Submariner.

Agreed the bezel action on mine is very disappointing. There is about 1mm lateral wobble in all directions as well. It really does let down the watch.
I also have the San Martin spectre homage which has bullet proof bezel action.

Hey folks,

Expecting my QC pics from Andrew (TrustyTime) this week. Wondering if there’s any typical QC checks you guys make sure of for this watch.

What I have so far to check on is:

  • See the seconds dial making full rotation. Potential shudder at 10 and 40 mark in some models.
  • Bezel - click and movement. Is there a wobble?

Anything else you typically look out for?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Tell me please, silver inner ring v2 correct size like your gen sm300? Dont know, but visual v2 looks still wrong. Can You compare size of your gen bezel insert and inner ring?
Thank You!

Hey folks, Just doing my QC checks with Andrew, could anyone offer insight into what info the machine in the below image is providing?

Also, are there any specific checks for flaws you guys have requested before? Anything I should look out for? Think the QC pics look good, but I’m inexperienced at this.

Thanks a bunch

1. The accuracy is spot on at 0 seconds gained or lost per day in that position.
2. The amplitude is 316 degrees which is on the higher end of where you want to be (around 250-320 degrees) but looking at the line you don't have knocking so you're good on that part. If the movement was knocking you'd see the line being broken up by snow as the balance knocks and resets itself.
3. This is the beat error at 0.4 which is fine. It measures how long a tick takes in regards to a tock so to speak when the balance spins. 0.0 is the best but up to 0.6 is acceptable for a new watch at this price point.
4. This is your beat rate which is 28800 vibrations per hour which translates to the seconds hand moving 8 times per second. A real Omega coaxial runs at 25200 VPH but that's not something that is replicated anywhere.
5. The 12s here I'm not sure about but I'm guessing that's how long the timegrapher has been running
6. This is the lift angle of the timegrapher. You set this number according to what the movement needs to be measured at.

All in all a good result.

Really appreciate you taking the time to explain that, Geonor. Thank you
