Just sent some dough to Hont for a Spectre myself. Breaking my own rules since I still haven't even received the last watch I purchased lol

I think we all got FOMO on this one.. I had told myself to stop checking the forums 5x a day for a m2m sale the day before his telegram post.

I think some people obsess a bit much over perceived issues/flaws. From looking at all the pics -QC etc it looks pretty dam good.

I wore my gen Spectre every day for 6 + years, I’ll be the first to inform you guys once my VSF arrives —if it ‘feels’ off or looks ‘off’.

From what I’ve seen, depending on lighting , the bezel numbers may not be as pronounced….I recall there was a difference between the first V6F rep Spectre I got & the gen in this regard Should look s be interesting how the VSF is……

That obsession comes in this rep hobby..lol.

Speaking of the bezel numbers, the rep will never get it to look more pronounced unless they have liquidmetal to do the numbers like Omega has done on the gen. Both of us have the gen, so you'll know how the liquidmetal numbers just pop and shine within that ceramic bezel. I still have the Spectre V6F that you speak of, the numbers on the bezel just can't compare when I compared it with my standard gen model. Looking at the VSF V2 on video, they look to be pretty much the same as the V6F, as in the numbers still disappear under shadow or reflection, totally unlike that of the liquidmetal.

But yes, liquidmetal aside, it's still a very good rep from the looks of it without having to break the bank for the gen which has already increased in value over the years.

Here's the V6F from years back with the gen standard model. As can be seen on the V6F alone, the VSF V2 definitely looks superior to that old V6F. Thicker inner ring and a better looking textured dial as well as better looking lume markers as opposed to he V6F pictured here. And at the time, I thought the V6F was good. Seeing the VSF one now, I'd say VSF has nailed it this time.

Sold the lot, as a set. Silly to just keep a box -especially when it’s a set. Still regret it, but ludicrously self indulgent to wear a $12k watch when family could use that money. Circumstances changed due to covid & corporate restructuring. Kinda s**t but it is what it is.

Will hopefully get another down the track when recovered financially…..🤞🏻

Looks good. Again I say, this is as good as it gets. VSF really did good on this one. I doubt they can do any better than this when it comes to the Spectre SM300.

I really like how the process works for adding in the liquidmetal within the ceramic bezel. The end result is really beautiful and I feel it can only be truly appreciated when seen in the flesh.

A pity they don't use the same process with liquidmetal for the SMP range.

Hi, do the V2's second hand still have not round sharp problem?
Not completely sure I know what you mean.
If you mean the stuttering issue?
The vsf v2 doesn't use the same miyota unit but an Asian clone of the original. So shouldn't be a problem.
