But is the bracelet really made of stainless steel? Try a magnet and see if it sticks or slips. Manufacturers say they use 316L steel (which is diamagnetic so the magnet shouldn't stick).

I doubt an update is gonna happen anytime soon and with the sandwich dial it can't be a superrep imho.

I think it means the hours markers are not lume filled like gen, the rep uses a beige dial blank and then slaps on the actual dial.

I think it means the dial is stacked on top of the luminous hour markers. Per Google Panerai does this. I know my rep has recessed hour markers.

Yeah. Sandwiched like a Panerai. The dial placed on top of the lume piece. The rep of the Seamaster 300 is sandwiched whereas it isn't exactly sandwiched on the gen.

By the way I got normally a V2 but it's hard for me to see the grainy improvement... might it be a V1 ?! How to be sure ? brush between lugs for sure ?

It's not the spectre version, and I wish they would still make it. I ordered the Spectre but would have prefered this version!!

I've pulled the trigger on a VSF V2 and been told by my TD that the Nato strap supplied by the factory no longer has the Spectre 007 engraving on the bands .
