Crap man...You cannot even adjust the time with these stems..Also if he replace you the stem you must be careful if the same shit happens..They must improve the stems not keep using the same one...
The maker of these know it had a problem with the stem...Then he said that he made it out so to have it ready ASAP but it seems that it is not ok..Also many people will not trust this movement in the future even if he improves it...

It's not good, plus I was being so careful with the watch, knowing the stem might be delicate! Worse thing is, the end of the stem seems to be lost inside the watch movement too, I might send the whole watch back to Angus and let him sort it out........

The end of the stem is stuck in the keyless works, just like mine was. I sent it back to Katt to take a look at, and he dug into it finding the end of the stem broken cleanly in two. Call me a racist, call me impatient, call me a tuna fish sandwich, I am DONE with Chinese dealers and all their mumbo jumbo and big talk only to fall flat when it comes time to deliver.

Rup, I hear ya bro, these watches were hyped by the seller, but that was it just hype with very poor quality.

Theres something thats been bothering me (lol, what a surprise), I'm not gonna give the guys name and call him out (I have nothing against this member and hes a good guy) but I'm very aware of someone posting about this movement saying how great it is, when I infact know it has the flaw that all the others do, it just hasn't broke yet and I do hope it doesn't but the reality is the watch was released way to early and I believe was sold to test the movement and not to actually perform long term.

Mickey i hope you get it back and it is fine but the stem must be improved..If the replace it with the same one it has the same potential to break..I have said it before and totally believe this thought..

I agree, but still, better a working watch than not! I suppose I could stop wearing it until a fix is found? Or just take my chances.....

Mickey, would you mind keeping us posted on how the movement behaves when you get it back please? I have had three "early" movements (not that I think they are any different now) that have had some sort of problem with them (mainly difficulty in finding the date change postion and/or hands jumping when I set the time, though I did not keep them long enough to have a stem break.

MP, whos paying for all the shipping?? You or PT??, and at least PT is gonna fix it without making you buy another watch.

WC, I think you were very wise to sell yours. You of course can by another if they ever are improved, or buy from a diffrent dealer (with a clone ETA or gen ETA if possible), or get yourself a gen, if you haven't already.

I paid the return shipping, as I have with every dealer whenever there has been a problem with a watch, no difference here ;)

The watch had slight problems with date and time setting, it felt a bit poor and was hard to change positions, once or twice the time changed when trying to screw the crown back down.....

I will keep you all up to date :)

I went gen on the YM because I liked the SA3135 version so much. That SA3135 had a bit of a problem finding the date change and at the time thought it may "just be me." My buddy TxRob purchased it from me & according to him is running fine. Like all of us, I see the potential of the SA3135 for Franken "if" they can get the stem issue fixed. So, I will stick to clone ETA until this movement get's improved.

Yeah he sold one to me that still works, wtf......lol

Thank Gawd for that Rob! The one's I have ordered since...not so good (
