Racist?? LMAO, lots of items in our homes are made in China and most of its crappy junk that breaks fast and needs to be replaced often. Go to Walmart, all they sell is made in China stuff. You can hardly find any items not made in China. Rup, is no racist, hes a realist if anything. Hes keeping it real up in the field, LOL.

Please guys... !!

I think that the comment of Ruprekt is not fair, I think that arcadia is exaggerating a bit and I think that the comment of Sub is a little out of place.

Please keep this forum like a friendly place !!!

Just my opinion

I have been very friendly in this board as I view this as just as hobby and not something to sweat for. Ultimately for me, gen is still the end all be all and I try not to confuse that with “this” hobby.

BK is a modder, Angus is a dealer. Not even the same bananas. The ‘California beats China every time' statement should not even be applied except for one’s personal opinion which I will respect. However, please do not try to generalize it in any way that makes it appear to be a universal statement, i.e. that California beats China every single time. I hate Puretime too at times but that does not give me the right to call out his (my) people.

I have nothing against any place nor person as I just want to live and let live. Simple. But any statement putting down my place or people, or any other country whether as a joke or not, is uncalled for. We encounter products or service or anything from another land that stinks and it is perfectly fine to call it as such. But we do not put it out as something against a whole nation. That’s not fair.

This is what concerns me about the SA3135, its just not designed well.

Lol I already tryed that too, i bought 3 of theses of differentes sizes and all. the seller told me that it was a lot of all stems possible. None fits the movement i think the maker made the stem to fit only this specific movement
And my watchmaker who have a lot of stems in his shop, tryed too and didn't find any that fits in. I'm telling you. this stem problem is really a deal breaker, there is still a lot of work to do on theses problems

This also, proves the stems low quality.

i agree this new movement is nice but be careful guys!!! i got the YM SA3135 and Sub SA3135. And when i tried to install gen dial and hands on the sub, everything was perfect at first but when i reinstall the movement in the case the stem broke like nothing. so i took the watch to my watchmaker and he told me that the stem was way to small and thin for a mechanical movement this is usualy used on quartz. I compare it to a aftermarquet 3135 stem, big difference!! I told angus but he didn't know and didn't get back to me yet on this subject, he ll try to shipp me a couple on my next order. The point is i had the same problem on my YM when puting the crown back in place the time change itself if i don't find the sweet spot first.
Somes pics to explain the weak part and the ''sweet spot''
The rep stem on the left and the aftermarket on the right.

This is where the stem broke, sorry for the bad pic my camera isn't that good ... but the spacing explain the hands moving when puting the crown back in. And the aftermarket stem doesn't fit this movement i tryed!!!

From the looks of those pics its pretty obvious that the shoulder of the stem is weak. I find it strange they can't produce a better stem.

This is down to whoever designed the MVT. It looks like they just grabbed the stem they had at hand that looked closest to the gen Rolex and used that. Unfortunately it's a POS.

Well it isn't a common ETA, Miyota or Hattory. I need to get out my less well used stem assortments and look thru them as well but so far nothing even close.

Please let them have used an existing stem design and not "1:1 reped" the Rolex stem and got it horribly wrong . . .

Well, guess what happened to me today? I was adjusting the time on my SA3135 Yachtmaster, when the hands stopped turning......

If you guessed that my stem had broken, then yes, you would be right! :(

So, I'll wait untill CNY is over and see what can be done......
