Oh, over 700
Still almost certainly just shipping handling bumping the regulation out of spec. Take it to any local watch maker/service center and ask them to regulate the movement. Tell them it's a Selita SW200 - should be less than 50 bucks and it'll run like new.

Anyone got this set up on rubber straps? The Etsy store selling GH clasps and buckles seems to have shut down. Thinking it would be nice in blue rubber like I saw in the thread but not sure where sells a quality one.

Can anyone weigh in on how accurate the green dial is compared to GEN?

Looking at picking one of these beauties up

I've got mine from Aliexpress. There's a link in this thread.

The GH clasps seem to be a bit crap and basically unuseable due to the rep design not allowing it to use most rubber straps (I bought one and it will never be used as it literally can't be).

I wear mine on a blue tropic from "StrapHabit" on Amazon. Same quality as Strapcode but half price.

Thanks! I'll run mine on the bracelet for a little while before picking up something like that for hotter weather. Looks good - will try straphabit.

Just took delivery of the watch from a member. Great detail and overall quality feel. Movement is of course nice also. Blue dial looks lovely in a variety of lighting conditions. Only con for me is the claps mechanism - The folding part that comes into contact with the wrist is pretty sharp. Anyone else noticed this? Thinking it may be possible to smooth off the edges a bit with some light filing/sanding but don't really want to mess it up. Maybe a leather or rubber strap is the way to go after all.

Sorry for the double post but just an update on this. I lightly softened the edges with some 600 grit, but maybe my wrist just got used to it. Been fine ever since but still looking to pick up a nice strap, maybe exotic leather.

Leather, particularly exotic leather on a diver is just so wrong. Very weird look. Especially a diver like this that has a '60s aesthetic and is based on a classic skindiver.

Each to their own, it's just an arbitary fashion rule based on tradition. 'No dive watches with a suit!'. If it looks pleasant to oneself, there is no problem. I think the right combination can look cool.

Little update - loving the SeaQ. Running it on the aliexpress tropic strap, only £7 - lovely and soft. The lug ends are not rounded though and pop out at a bit of an ugly angle, but i can live with.
Out in the strong sunlight today and noticed two ultra fine hairline scratches on the sapphire. Not sure whether they were there before me, unsure how they got there. Kind of frustrating but only noticable under the strongest light at certain angles - Not sure whether to buy diamond paste as I have seen other members get good results from using that method.

Have you noticed this French clone? Available in numerous variations. Movement is Miyota.

Wolbrook offers also tropic straps - fortunately a little shorter than others!

UPDATE: there is actually a technique that seems to work for getting the springbar to seat these Ali clasps.

It took an unreasonable amount of fiddling and I still wouldn’t recommend buying this clasp lol.

It’s hard to explain in writing but I just jammed / tucked a bit of the strap material below the springbar loop into the inner side of the clasp. With one end of the springbar seated in hole and the other side of the strap loop hole with springbar sticking out resting on the top of the clasp. Then push the springbar to make contact with the metal and shove the other end of the loop down from above.

This technique worked for me on a variety of leather, rubber and textile straps I had lying around. I ended up settling on this navy textile / sailcloth strap.

Can I ask where you sourced this textile strap? Looks lovely. I got a cheap fkm strap on Ali 2hich is lovely and soft but the leg ends and squared off instead of rounded, and produces an ugly effect.

I'm happy with my black one too ...

but I am a little annoyed that I've forgotten the alignment of the bezel in the QC. I did not know/realized that it's a latching bezel ...

Another criticism is the bracelet, which is very sharp on the edges and some of the screws to change the length almost drove me crazy.... but I will use another bracelet anyway.

Additionally, I will also do the rotor mod ... it is good to hear that the clock winds up very little only.

For some reason i had issues with the bracelet when i first got it, i thought it was really sharp and the clasp was irritating, but now its really comfortable! My bezel is also out by a tiny amount, but wouldnt want to risk changing it myself. Post what strap you go with when you get it! :)
