I’m Aware rep xtals are pretty poor, always have been, theres no substitute for Gen and should indeed in 2020 be able to make a decent xtal and print a good date disc!

For me, I’m not sure if it’s glaring from
A couple feet but then nor are the flat hands and markers on some of the older higher end models. My point is there’s a lot of worry about on wrist tells and honestly next to each other it’s ahrd to tell IRL. They are only tells to those that know.


Let’s say you know someone who has a gen. I guarantee If you don’t ask someone to compare your watch with theirs they won’t spot anything wrong or take much interest. Most think the cheaper end reps look the “same”

Yeah, you are totally right about it and i'm not arguing about that.

It's true that unless you are wearing a 50$ beach rep no one is gonna notice the minuscule tells, unless they ofc know about them from previously.

I always say that the biggest tell in a rep is you

Its clone 3130 so yes as gen 2 positions.

It winds like its full of sand very very rough and weird noises. Should take it to service.

Yesterday I ran the same picture in the FB Rolex Fake Buster group and those who answered said it looks legit.

Out of curiosity, do you know whether any of the people giving it a pass work as ADs either in retail or as techs?

I don't have FB but I do wonder what feedback we'd get from the fake busters with an RXF shot.

Ive been in that group for couple of months. One who answered is a rollie collector has something like 150 gens regarding others dont know. Many have been ARFs there offered for sale as gens these they indetify straight away as fakes but with ARF you really dont even need to zoom. RFX dont know maybe the rehaut is a giveaway but from right angle I think it could pass. My same pic in this thread also didn’t show the serial which may be have been a quick tell.

But remember this is based on zoomed pics IRL its impossible to tell even I think if you hand your RFX over to the other person 99% couldn’t tell anything.

These have come along way since the first one. Winding is a little noisy, still feels like there’s a almost a position between winding and changing time on the crown/stem.

The hands are really nice, I’ve bought and sold a quite a few gen handsets these are the nicest rep hands I’ve seen.
Bezel is way improved and the insert gives that lovely gloss and almost silver tone to the black ceramic in low light. Crystal is nice too.

Sel is pretty good on this one.

i have zzf v2 no date and i think the issue with dial big hole is ok now on new v2s

Yeah I’m seeing less and less dial dimple on all these new versions so I’m glad I waiting and didn’t settle for that because it’s horrible!!!!

For me, in hand, it is always the bracelet. Not many rep bracelets really have the same bevel quality on the edges and most just feel too sharp and not smooth like gen.

I had a look and nice small Centre dimple.

Need to unwrap Plastic to look properly. I’ve found The X on dial isn’t really an issue for me, I’m highly aware of it yet it’s not caught my eye at all. It didn’t on the previous one I had.

As others report bezel is a little stiff. Need to check case engraving.
