Are you sure? Do you have one and have changed the date (not by using the crown in the second position I mean, but moving the hands past 12 o’clock)? As far as I know, the ETA 2824 does not have quick date change, the date moves up slowly from around 22:45 until the next number finally clicks in place at 00:00h.

Mine changed around 12:00 using the crown to advance the time.

I feel so conflicted now, should I mod an ARF, RXF or ZZF with Gen parts. I’m talking GEN dial, hands, bezel set and crown and date wheel.

I don’t Think the latest dials require going Gen. Zf zzf or the vsf. The zf + zzf datewheel doesn’t really need going gen either buy either of those and go gen xtal I’ve not seen the zf or VSF hands in person but I know the latest ZZF hands are prob no worth going gen with now.

I share the pict with Gen crystal so that you can see, its not always show black hole or halo effect even it is Gen. Especially in strong light situation.

gen crystals with anti reflective coating are being made since 2018, anything prior it will have the same pictures as you, newer models will have the blue AR cyclops like rxf replicates, your watch isnt wrong at all its gen specs(its beautiful btw), the newest ones just changed to anti reflective coating, which hands down rxf did a good job with
