I would never say no to anything, but most RM mod would require more dedication and resources pouring in then any AP mod. My FC GP mod project has doubled our initial projected budget and tripled the time..... which prevented from buying even a single rep that i wanted from M2M sales or from TD.... ;-(
This hobby has become more of a job then hobby ....

But I do agree with you on the availability of the tech and resources to pull it off.
In the case of 035, we could probably shave off the case by removing unnecessary movement parts such as rotor. Rework the dial structure to give it more crisp and expensive look.Change the hands to gen spec, and then slap on custom straps. I think that would be good enough and much better than the current offerings from TD. ;-D

This is exactly what I've been looking at Pete. I could even live with the hands and maybe even the dial. Case thinning and a custom canvas strap will make a world of difference. Maybe a blue hue AR on the crystal.

Maybe if the factories do consider a revisit of this model, they won't cost save by just sticking the same mid case used in other models on the RM35-01. It needs to have that woody CF look. This has been done before on AP divers. Maybe they could also add some better faux gears as two of the current set up look real bad. They need to be larger and have more teeth. If they could get things right, I'd be happy to give over $500 for one of these

Do you think 038 might give us better chance of modifying it correctly Bren?
It just need better finish on dial structures and refinish/correct color of case?

Does the gen 035 have FC mid case as well, unlike the DLC case of the current rep?

Seems to be so, this is from their 3D app and shows a layered pattern to the mod case. I seem to remember watching a YouTube video that said as much too

E secondo il tuo pariere ad oggi qual'è la miglior replica?
Io sarei interessato a comprare una di Rolex oppure Hublot, ma ci sono tantissimi modelli e vorrei sapere quale sia quello che più si avvicina all'originale.

Trigger pulled on the RM 035 from Angus.
Curiosity was killing me and I definitely think it has modding prospects.
