Had to ship the DJ back to GZ, realized I do not have anything to get a Lume shot of...;-(

Hi spa, you take great photos and that is a nice dj you have, Is it an A21 version or a ETa version?

21J, first REP in years bought my last one 15 years ago from a back room off of Harry Hines in Dallas...Wanted to see what the quality was on a less expensive one before jumping full in. I have a green crystal Milgauss with the ETA on the way now... Also had to return the DJ to watcheden, it did not want to stay running over a few hours, kept stopping with the second hand in the same place. Either second hand hitting crystal or gear problem in movement...Still very happy with it and know it will be fine when it gets back....

I plan on posting some pictures in the coming week as well. Have the new PO pumpkin, but I am waiting until my Nab B comes in from Gunter.

Just got back from a 30mile bike ride; first of the year and I feel exhausted.

If we get a few more entries I'm sure Pix will add the other watch. We can hold off a little while longer. SpacityHustler, you wont be disappointed with the Milguass. I have one and it's definitely a keeper. IMHO the watches with simple clean lines tend to keep my interest while the busy ones I tire of; just a personal thing I guess.

LevelmanRoger, donator of the UBoat, threatened to post some better pictures this weekend. I know he has been really busy running his business. I think he got it from WackoBirdKeeper

And the Milgauss..

3rd or 4th prize (before or after the pen)... up to you PHicks ;)

Not a rep, just a simple 120 dollars gen. So basically a similar value to the other prizes. A nice one IMO, but tastes might vary

Thanks Pix,
Nice watch, nice picture.

When I was a child my grandfather entered a running race where first price was a fancy gold handled umbrella. Second prize was a Neapolitan style clock. Since he had never been able to afford a clock he wanted the clock. He managed to win it by deliberately coming second; no mean feat.

The point behind this story is that, at Pix's suggestion, we will allow the winners to choose their prizes based on winning order. This should give added enthusiasm to Spider87 since he has a hankering for the UBoat.

Should anyone be considering the purchase of Photoshot be aware that there have been numerous reports of counterfeit copies appearing on eBay; particularly the CS2 version. The probability is that any NIB CS2 version you see is counterfeit. Replica watches are one thing but selling counterfeit s/w as genuine is a whole new story.

Allowing the winners to choose their own prices will be awesome, NOW I AM MOTIVATED!

lol I like this idea but I don't know after seeing the possible new prize it will be hard to decide if I did end up winning something...

Though I still think I'd go with the U boat haha ... They're all great choices and the boat stuck out to me originally and obviously it's calling to me lol.

SO in the case of my winning ... you have my decision... :) Thanks PHicks :)

BAH, I don't know... the new prize is very beautiful too :-( lol bah .... My problem now is I need to order more reps/gens as my current watch is the only one worth posting and I am losing interest in posting pics of it... Would you all accept non-watch pics as entries too as posting pics of my single watch is getting kind of hard to keep interesting for all of us? lol

Can the set shots be of different watches or does it have to be the same one, would like to feature both my DJ and Milgauss in the set shots? Hopefully tomorrow will be warm enough out to get out side and get a nice flair shot with the Mississippi river as a back drop or something....

I would say set shots can be any of them though I'm not the contest coordinator or anything though I don't know if he's been around or not? I ask a question a couple days ago and didn't get a response? hmm oh well haha but yea I'd say the set ones can be any watch :)

I got a movement in the mail today so I took some macro pics of it we'll see how they turn out I haven't loaded them yet but I'll upload them to here and post em.... It's a watch... lol Just not with all the pretty 'case' and 'dial' on it yet haha....I'm still trying to figure out where I'm gonna get that stuff...

Here's a few macro pics of my watch in a dirty state

Here's the new movement I got... I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it... I had a plan but this is not what I expected to get (because I'm a damn noob... lol):

Here's a clean macro of my watch:

When I say macro I am simply meaning up close as I do not have a macro lens. My 'macro shots' are just me holding a magnifying glass in front of my camera which DOES help it focus at a closer distance but still I don't believe qualifies as macro.

Hope you like em

That's a nice looking watch; you must be very pleased. I'm definitely moving more towards the watches with simple clean lines.

Good looking pictures too, the lume shot came out real well. What are you using for camera equipment?
