I got a long letter from Toro which clarified the situation. I'm keeping the watch and cancelling the ticket. I wish I get it two days ago.

My friend Seiko5,

You deceive you, because movement Asian Clone 3135 never was a true clone of the GEN movement.
The base of this movement is a 2824.
The purchase price is normal, I can reassure you.

The description of the SA3135: 3135 Asian Super Clone Automatic Movement (The first real clone 3135 movement, this movement HAS 100% same size as the original and you can install it inside a genuine box, install a genuine dial and hands on it)

The description of the A3135: Nickel-plated movement Asian 2836 clone modified to look Rolex Cal.3135

I think your confused or misled the 3135 inscription on the movement.

Toro is not wrong,
sorry for you, but everything is normal.

is this watch water proof and which model should i order? they offer different movements and my guess is the swiss is he best. please give me guidance before i make a purchase. i just want a water proof submariner that holds time good and will last many years.

Im very interested in buying this watch from toro but they offer 3 different movements and i was wanting to know the difference between them. they offer a swiss clone for $180.00 more. is that a good decision or is the 3135 or the a2836 just as good a movement. please help me out. im lost to this greek language of numbers for movements...

does anyone know the turn around time from purchase to arrival if i pay for the fed x 4 to 7 day delivery service?

That's why we tell everyone here to read the forums, especially the newbie section, BEFORE buying anything. At the end of the day only you know how much you're willing to spend, which details are important to you etc. What I like may look horrible to you.

Ask the dealer, nobody else would be able to tell you. Past experience with shipments is no guarantee.

I ordered this watch from Toro a little over a week ago. It's being shipped by EMS to Canada. I'll post some pictures after it arrives.

Mine arrived yesterday, which was a little over a week after payment. I am very pleased with the fit and finish and overall it has exceeded my expectations. I was juggling between the Deepsea Blue and the Submariner so now after receiving a great product and after seeing your post above, I think I'll order the Deepsea next. My sub also seems to have found a home on my girl's wrist so it'll probably be sooner rather than later.

I own an Omega Chrono PO gen for 4 years and have been living with it every day. When I received the DSSD I was deeply impressed from the quality and the level of detailed put on this design. I even went and checked the gen one in an Authorized Dealer and let me tell you that only by having them side by side you might be able to spot some tiny differences. I wear it and I really enjoyed.. Same with the Sub, great piece as well

How is the dial on the DSSD Blue? Does the blue fade to black look very close to the gen?

I believe it does. Before I saw this in person I had read that the effect is much more present in the gen (like someone can see in those nice official pics of the watch) but in person and inside the shop itself it was not so obvious. I believe that under the sun it would be easier to differentiate but again I would say that in 9/10 will look extremely close and only side by side comparison would tell.
I have even red that some people like the "matte finish" of the rep than the gen's. In general and once again this rep is an amazing piece truly worth having!
Here's another one [emoji4]

Nice! You might want to consider the Hulk sub too! Do you find more people notice the DSSD and mention it to you than the Sub? I'm kind of disappointed, not one person has complimented me yet on my Sub! lol

i get compliments more on my replica then i have on my gen so go figure. lol... it makes me laugh each and every time. I have a friend whose a real watch fanatic and he saw my black sub just yesterday and was like... man... how can you afford to keep buying new watches that are in the thousands of dollars range? then he realizes that i charge $250.00 per hour on my custom tattoo work and he shuts up. lol...

That's funny! The custom tattoo work makes it very plausible. I would like a few more Rolex reps myself and for sure people would wonder how I could swing it. I think the Black sub doesn't raise any suspecting eyebrow's when I wear it, but I'm not so sure that would be the case if I were to rock a solid gold Rolex.

Had a Noob V5 from Toro pressure-tested today. Passed 10ATM test OK, the machine couldn't measure any more.

Approx how many meters water depth would they say that would be good for? also is this straight from Noob, no mods?

Just interested as mine is in transit.

Cheers

No, no mods, no seal lubrication, no nothing. It could have probably taken way more pressure but the machine could only pump out 10ATM/100m. No idea how many meters it's good for, but the watchmaker said that half of brand new Hamilton 100m rated watches that they are ADs for can't pass this test. Normally 10ATM/100m is OK for snorkeling but not OK for scuba diving

toro is charging me $50 to waterproof to 5atm. is that reasonable? i dont think it is. their subs say 50 meters waterproof and thats before paying the extra $50.00. so my question is... what am i paying the extra $50.00 for to toro for? my sub came with a QC pic showing 3 atm. my DSSD for the extra 50 showed 5atm. i think ill just take them locally to a good jewelry store and see if they can do it better for the same money spent.
