The only modifications that have been made to that watch is to cover the wrong pearl in wood varnish to make it look like the right pearl, and to relume the dial and hands with with melted cheddar cheese - it's ugly as hell, and way too expensive.
Buy the basic watch, from a TD for $120, and send it to a modder, that way you'll get a decent looking 5517.

i used to consider tswatch's mods. until i stumbled upon the super builds and did a compilation of my BC thread. And I realized i could no longer be okay with a off-the-mill aged piece. Started small; 180-300usd and slowly worked my way up the cost of builds while learning the ropes and intricacies of vintage builds.

many modded vintage pieces out there, but only a handful which are beautiful and look complete. and many reps which simply outshine the gens in terms of complete beauty.

Sounds good, do you recommend any modders? This is my first time doing this so im not really sure where to start

seems like HR's 5517 case has too little material at the crown guards to be workable. Thrasher's cartel based CGs look great!
