Giving this nice thread a bump. Learnt something on how to polish a watch from here 
My result:
Everything sounds simple.. until you lay your own fingers on it. Nearly broke my fragile fingers sanding the case haha. Then end result was very nice and mirror polished but i could notice very small random grains on the case. Probably din't sand it out smooth enough.
