The coolest/most unique aspect of the RM67-02 is how thin it is....I hope they didn't sacrifice the thinness as a tradeoff for an easy way to "curve" the case (just making it thicker)

The RM67-02 is such a tease. On one hand, you’ve got the sleek design and hype; on the other, the replicas seem to struggle with nailing the thinness and curvature. The new CNC updates are a step forward, but if the case gets thicker, it feels like a step back. That trade-off for a better curve isn’t winning anyone over. Plus, the movements still seem like the Achilles’ heel—lots of talk, not much improvement there. Honestly, I’m just holding out hope for a version that keeps the thin profile and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Until then, maybe it’s time to revisit the 67-01

To be fair, the original ones were slightly thinner than gen. However, I am not sure if this v2 is thicker than gen, it definetely looks like it. Still a good improvement from what weve been used to.

Don't know anything need more info.

But I think people are tricked because the old CNC case, look at the "midcase" (black part) vs the two front/back plates (white part). The midcase is thin while the two black/front plates are "thick".

The new one, the front/back plates are thinner which makes the midcase thicker which makes the watch look thicker, it's an illusion.

But I actually think it might be the same thickness, no change.
