My BP that had a crown fail is on its way back from Intime but I had to pay $23 to get it DHL other choice was airmail...up to 30 days! Will see how long it lasts. in the mean time a friend is checking to see if that puretime watch really has a A2836 because the puretime picture shows an ETA

Well the watch returned today and I'm not sure if its even the same watch , The crown works great and the exterior is great, The SEL fitment is better, the hands are a little dirty but the indices and numbers on the dial look very dirty I don't know how or whats on every single marker but its either finger prints and food or corrosion, I'm surely done sending it back to china, now I have to figure if I can clean the markers without making it worse. I think since I love the looks of this watch I may try a couple more from different TDs and then go for a genuine.
Having just picked one up on m2m with buggered keyless. Now all fixed. Would so like to know how the 2824gmt works. Also need to replace bezel if anybody has one or knows where I can get one

Sead got back to me and there is another factory making these with a Miyota 8215 (Low Beat) and from the pictures the pearl is to small. (I WILL POST PICTURES WHEN I GET A CHANCE) I don't know if the BP version can be had with a new A2836 or not as the pictures on the Puretime website show the old ETA.
Outstanding Gentlemen, I will get pictures of mine up soon and if your at all interested I put up a bunch of different links to TDs where the watch looks like a BP but many claim different movements though looking at the pictures they all look like the refurbished ETA. I will have many more comments and as you guys have had yours longer I would appreciate your input as to what you see is different between the genuine and the REP on the face.

Actually that's a good move emailing Katt. I had another one before and I somehow f'ed up the GMT hand - Katt fixed it up good as new. So it may not be as bad as you think.

I bought a new swiss ETA from O frei and contacted VAC and Katt, VAC was very specific about what he would do and how much it would cost, I've dealt with him before and been pretty happy. Katt was vague and did not at all attempt to answer my questions or give me any prices for what I was asking. I really wanted to try Katt but I know VAC and he was very detailed in his response and what he said made sense to me. I would rather put a new ETA in a watch then have someone fix it only to have the next part fail like a chain reaction, I've been down that road once and once was enough. Yea I could of got a Hangzhou off the Bay for a hundred less but WTF a swiss movement from O Frei is guaranteed to be solid for a long time.
This is a new factory, not really better in my opinion.

Dude did you doubt for a second it was genuine? I know the dial is beautiful perfect and shinny indices , numerals and logos ,but its the insert that really nails it, the rep insert , the orange is a bit off and the edges are not finished as well, with the movement its the black anti magnetic balance wheel and silicone hairspring
