There's certainly a demand - apart from the insert itself, ARF did not do a great job of the bezel.

Problem is there isn’t a current good rep of the SD4K just the out of production Noob V2.
But to your point, yes, every rep needs one of these.

could we run a fundraiser? we donate atleast $100 each so a trusted well known member can by the machinery to make these parts? the only perk or donation will entitle is a discount. they could even fix the rep cases to gen specifications! that would be a game changer on rwi.

Just received mine, initial impressions are the bezel teeth are deeper and better machined than the noob v9 I have for comparison. The insert numbers are wider and cleaner than noob.
However the color of the numbers on the insert is very white and flat. Does not look like gen it’s pretty bright white under direct light.
Will try to take some pics this weekend but I plan on trying to send it out to get plated.

Retaining ring is also required to be sanded down to fit on my noob V9.

My thoughts is the same, do you plan on sending it to Spongebob? What's the typical turnaround time for this? The other day I saw someone mentioning the rolex forum have ppl selling gen insert for around 300 bucks. I think we might as well just buy gen if someone is selling it for around 300 bucks.

Does it need 3M tape in order to install the insert to the metal holding the insert? Or does it work like gen which no tape is required.

1. 3M tape is not required at all.
2. gen insert can fit on the bezel.
Although a good idea, history of such projects does not bode too well unfortunately

dear friends, a question for those who have already installed the CF bezel on the Noob V7. Do I need a glasket (0 ring) nylon bezel to install this CF bezel or does it need to be fitted without any gasket? thanks for the answers.
