we all know that this watch is small in size and since we already see the rep case etc so imo fitting asian/quartz movement to this small case will takes extra time.
since no tickling second hand i think quartz movement will do just fine, and affordable price of course
Is this not the same size as te ladies cartier tank? IRC there's a cartier for ladies that is smaller than the reversion and uses quartz movement. They could jus slip that in to the JLC. Since there's no seconds had it's better to have a quartz, less upkeep down the road.

Not as yet, the main reverso's I see are the Squadron ones which don't look good at all

Be careful when ordering from Silix at the moment. They've just announced a long shutdown period. There had been a little confusion and miscommunication from Silix and their auto-replies, but it's either until the end of May or end of July.
I saw a standard Reverso in Quartz while in Shanghai a couple of years ago. It did not look great to me but I would be interested to see a Reverso Grand Date with a mechanical wind movement.

I just went and got the gen 2 days ago, albeit wasn't the 1931 but grande calendar, $15,000 and the first gen I bought
But still may get this one, the dial looks v good. Thought the hands were off but I see on the gen black face it's pretty accurate. Also a bit small for most guys wrists, I'd guess in this modern age

For those looking for a gen strap, the JLC OEM strap is 20/18 and available in three sizes: 105/65, 120/80 and 125/95. It is only available in black or brown matte alligator for $430 shipped CONUS.

Someone on RG has pointed out there is an engraving error on the photographed prototype. "3Bar" has become "3Bsr"....

I looked at the pics again, they engraved a backwards "s" instead of an "a", hopefully they will fix it on the actual watch
