Rep Gold Plating

Hey there ! To answer the question yes. I take new clients all the time. I’m just at a point now where I need help with the flow of scheduling to make sure the customer gets the highest level of service they deserve that’s one of the biggest reasons I decided to start working with Aseem, flow and organization.

Also as a side note I’m now a trusted vendor on RWG & Reptime. I’m really hoping to work things out with Trailboss someday as well..

We don’t do two tones due to how time consuming they are, considering our huge workload with both gen and rep services I’m just unable to fit them in nowadays. Same goes for rose. Just taking in yellow and white gold, full gold watches with limited runs/schedules and mostly reserved for custom builds.

As many of you guys may know I’m a watchmaker, gold plating is a plus and by no means our core business.

I carry a microfiber towel in every vehicle and one in my office. Like was said, a quick wipe down is a great idea.

I have a pair of microfiber white gloves which the sales used in jewellery shops. I wear those and clean my watch every night.

Dude, no one wants to pick another fight with you but if you REALLY want to make your way through the RWI TDs, advertising backdoor isn’t the right way and you’ve been told multiple times in the past by the staff yet you’re here doing it again.

Thank you !. Yes this is why I just stay off these platforms now if possible. I’m not in any competition or promoting anyone. I always get some kind of flak no matter what. I do what I feel is best for my customers that’s it. .

Thank you Nikz and I’m not going to fight at all ever again. I’m not promoting anyone and apologize if you felt differently. I do chose to use very organized people that help me with my work schedule that’s it.

No arguing at all- despite what anyone may think I’m all in if he’s open to suggestions and improving himself. You never stop learning in this job- even if I do have a paperwork, I still take update courses myself and force my employees doing them as well.

There’s a lot of demand and there will never be enough people to answer all of that.

Does anyone have any experience on wearing rep gold watches in Florida? I don’t go outside a lot and when I do I’d wear my vsf SS sub most likely unless it’s the wintertime. I’d be wiping the watch off whenever I am done wearing it as well. I only have had experience with a gold plated small rope chain and the plating came off because I showered with it and never took it off because I didn’t know better I saw a pic online of the new Clean GMT Master II 126713 GRNR right OOTB and it is hot hot HOT! I am really tempted to order it but I’m worried about longevity of the gold. If anyone has any experience with rep plated gold in hot tropical climates, especially from Clean Factory, I would love to read them! Thanks

I think it's a must to coat all plated jewelry if you want it to last. I've used ProtectaClear and so far, so good. If you don't like the factory color of the gold you should get it re-plated before you coat it.

It's half weather but half the way you take care of your watch. All gold tarnishes eventually, even gen over time tarnishes. My buddy's AP 15500 (gen) is starting to tarnish at the edge of the clasps and bottom of the watch. He lives in a hot and humid country, and he doesn't give a flying f* about his watch.

Tarnishing can also be taken off. But it's a lot of work and carefulness not to go and fuck up the plating
