Ah, interesting, I did not know that things could not be easily plated later on / down the road.

I still feel like (as long as I am good with the color), that given wrist time and care, that I'd roll the dice on leaving as-is.

I second that. Nikz is the only person I know over there that does plating. He is in Italy. And he is second to none.

I find plating nice because the rep hold color is off, to yellow, too in your face. The plating tones it down to proper color and for that alone I do it.

The pic with the caseback off is pre-plating, the other two the color is less orangy-yellow.

The watch look really nice, is it Clean Factory? One question, is anything could you do if the plated coming off?

It’s a BTF and thanks. And nope, this is so thick it won’t polish off, also, ceramic coat them, they will last a lifetime that way (yes, automotive ceramic coating, I use CSL, and EXO

It depends. Nikz doesn't do Everose anymore (from what I have heard) and Flan doesn't seem to take on new customers since hoping in bed with Aseem. Nikz is worth it if you are in Europe/UK but if you are in the US I would say, no. The exchange rate sucks lol, plus shipping it internationally, etc add up. If he is doing other work for you on the other hand then absolutely its worth it.

I had my John Meter nano coated. So far it's been outstanding. I ordered the product to do it myself and see what the long term results are.

I used crystal serum and EXO14 (and am GlideCoat certified as I was a retailer for them at one point) and stopped coating them some time ago.

If there was truly a long term benefit the Gen companies would do it.

It does work short term though.
