I've wondered this myself, like for example, I'm sure if someone took a noob v7 sa3135 with a fake box and papers to local pawn shops, most of them would just see the movement and not really know what they are looking at and give like $3500 for the watch and then they go resell it and are out the money when it's further looked at. I bet that's how a lot of fakes turn up on eBay Craigslist etc!
