I have a XF Seadweller in order at Trustytime and just asked him tonight if there are any news regarding the factories or if my order could already be placed.
He replied just with one sentence: „Yes some factories are going to open again.“
Seems to me that the TDs are still figuring out how the business will start again and at the same time have to handle hundreds of the same dump questions from clients like my one.
Think we just have to wait and calm down. Life goes on also without reps...

From my part i can verify that there is a problem with TDs and their bank accounts. It seems the raids are much wider and "deeper" than what was thought of at the beginning. One of my TDs ( for more that 5 years ) has closed all his existing bank accounts ( i mean bank accounts outside of China ) and cannot accept transfers at all. I still can purchase a watch and pay by a roundabout way, however it is only because i have dealt with him so long that he would give me the 5% discount that one had with a bank transfer and accept a payment with euros with no bank charges. If the factories are in trouble with equipment being confiscated and handed huge fines and the TDs have cash flow problems as well it looks to me that we will have to wait quite a bit of time for things to get back to some sort of "normality" if we ever will. I don't even want to think about it................
If your question was about the TD i mention the answer is NO.
Many dealers were trusted once and then not trusted for a while and then trusted again. Some dealers are trusted in one forum but not in another.

just use bitcoin and you'll never have troubles. I don't understand why people keep bothering with bank transfers. there have been issues forever

You only joined RWI 10 days ago. Your order must have been well before that as the raid problem occurred at the beginning of April. The staff here only offer assistance to long standing, contributing members. There are a number of forums that send people here to resolve their problems. I would hardly consider that fair, would you?
Most of the TDs here have been in this business a long long time and are TDs here because they are honourable and do not mess their customers around. It is maybe worth reading the history of RWI and why it was set up and why it continues to be the most successful rep forum. The TDs may be overwhelmed with emails right now and they are just back after the Chinese labour day holidays. Patience is a key attribute that people learn on RWI, the rep game requires a lot of it.
