It’s not that hard to figure out. Instead of 12 teeth it has 24. You can even make it a 48 hour with a 48 teeth mod. Rolex did it this simple way. But their press release makes it look like they re-invented the wheel with a 100 year research timeline , just to make it in time for the 100th year Le Mans anniversary

Since the question has arisen here as to whether the ‘old’ QF LeMans Tungsten has a white gold plating or whether the steel has a different colour, I have compared it with the VSF/SBF Panda. As you can see - yes, it has a different colour. The steel of the VSF has a very slight yellowish tinge, while the steel or coating of the QF is more of a bluish colour.
Disclaimer: The photos were taken in a cheap light box with cold light, there was no post-processing and no white balance. Under different lighting conditions, the result will also look different.
