What a weekend
seen the White Eyed Wolf, I think
and even though I’ve potentially got 3 Daytona’s I realised I knew nothing about them.
So off to Bob’s Watches website and read up all about the history all the way from 63 with the Cosmograph 6328 all the way through to the 126500LN. Then all the posts on here and most of all this one, it’s been educational.
Thoughts from a newbie, not that anyone cares
so much knowledge in one area and anyone would be a fool not to listen and keep up the contributions, it’s brilliant.
I’m never or any of my mates are going to ask if there’s a notch either side of the 24 and are they to long, short or close.
The workings of the watch, absolutely fantastic information, but again my mates wouldn’t even care.
All i want is a great looking watch, that works and I like it.
So for my first Rep bought through RWI it’s no surprise I’ve put my down payment down for my Daytona LeMans and I’ve insisted on the QF with the sunburst dial but most of all, with my new education
I’ll check where the notches are and how long/short they are and I’m going to get the OF and bracelet to compliment it
sorry for the long post and just to finish I think I’ve bought the Daytona Platinum from a none TD purely by mistake, but I’ll let you know. Many thanks everyone for the information.

PS I don’t think it’s going to be my last post
