Well, one thing seems certain - we can't call or refer to the current gen 000/005 historics as the ones with sausage dials, anymore ! :wink:

Also, isn't it peculiar all the Panerai brochures, web site and marketing material state both 000 and 005 come with 6497-2 WITH SWAN NECK regulator ?!?!?!

not too funny really... i had a WTF!!! moment when i pulled the caseback off.. maybe i can have panerai send me an OPIX to swap

Yeah C,
and they'll charge you $750 for mov't replacement work at their service centre, and another $750 for the difference Panerai percieves between OPXI mov't with and OPXI mov't without S/N regulator ! :x
It's all artificialy overpriced, and it's all funny money for them.

Sorry about "funny" bit, it was actualy directed at Panerai themselves...
