If these scammers put half as much energy into legitimate use. They could make a decent honest living. I've dealt with so much crap from scammers on equipment but I'm still surprised at some of the things they come up with. I now have to put watermarks on ky pics because they would steal my pics from Ebay and put ads on Craigslist. Usually you could tell it was a scam. If the price is too good to be true people should just walk away. Sad thing is people fall for it or they wouldn't keep doing it.
i see the craigslist scam stuff all the time , was recently looking at streetbikes and you can just tell which listings are fake....
wonder if they are actually robbing people face to face or if they try and use WU.... maybe ill contact a fake ad just to see how they would proceed...
Well most the time you ask if you can come look and they say we it's not actually here its in Ohio or something. But I will ship it for free, I'm military and have to deploy soon or some shit to that nature.
Yeah I have a sour taste in my mouth after speaking to the "buyer" on the phone. Seems he was surprised that I was smart enough to find out his phone number and his profession. Plus his background check shows he used to live in PA, the same state that he wanted me to ship the watch too. I think this 56 year old priest is guilty but playing stupid. I'm giving this situation a week, if I don't get my watch back within that time or if tracking shows someone signs for it then I'm gunna call his church, I'm gunna post an ad on his local CL, I will continue to call his house with different numbers, and all in all make his life hell. I got nothing but time to think of ways to get him back. I will eventually get even, somehow he will feel it.
Well if it comes down to it. Since this crosses state lines it's Federal jurisdiction. Mail fraud and all kinds of charges.
$10 says the wife knows nothing , if you TRULY wanna get a man in trouble, tell his wife !

Are you sure he's a priest? Kind of unusual, what if it's an identity theft scam and you and the priest are both victims. This happens a lot, I'm not trying to get your hopes down but you should investigate more into the matter.

he found out he used to live in PA, where he sent the watch, then says hes going out of town for a week... out of town to where ? to PA? to get the watch ?
Yeah im not jumping into any revenge just yet. I spoke to him on the phone and that's about what he is suggesting but a few things seemed odd so that's why I'm prematurely planning my revenge haha

Oh if this does go sour, you can bet your ass his wife is gunna find out about it. I think the leverage would really be the possible headline "priest scams army combat Vet out of 3k on eBay"
i think "priest" and "scam" in the same sentance alone will be a news worthy story

cant stand these priests that drive luxury cars or live in huge houses, the worst thing is they are so delusional in thinking God gave em that or that God wanted them to have it.
there was a reality show , think it was called "thicker than water" really shows the true evil that goes on in religion... not every priest but theyre out there
I don't want to offend anyone's religious beliefs but personally I am atheist. I dont trust the church, mainly because more people have died in the name of "God" than anything else. All this fighting in the Middle East and all this hatred stems from people's beleifs in different fictional characters. It's crazy. This guy being a priest is not why I want harsh revenge but it will make the revenge that much more sweeter
