The quality of the photos and descriptions in sales threads of late is piss-poor!
Near mint, is NEAR MINT!!!! Not, dinged up, not scratched, not a movement with a seconds hand that doesn't reset to 12, a stripped crown tube... That's a bloody parts watch / daily beater!!!! Right?!
Near mint is basically a new watch aesthetically that is like new, but has been gently worn with no discernible difference to a Mint watch, other than the fact that it's seen some light wrist time!
**** me - is it really that ******* hard?!
If you're going to sell, open your ******* eyes and have a look at what you're selling. If its marked, say it - you don't have to make it out to be worse than it is, just tell the ******* truth.
I've sold plenty of daily wearers, plenty of near mint, plenty of gens, plenty of reps and all have been advertised clearly, and priced accordingly.
Needless to say, in the last couple of months I've received 'near mint' watches with scratched dials (!!!!) dinged cases (and all of the above) bracelets without endlinks (rendering the bracelet a ******* useless paper weight!), and not all are from noobs!
Am I the only one who reckons this is bullshit?! You should be bloody well banned from sales for 3 months if you try this shit!
It's an age old topic I know, but for crying out loud, enough is enough!
End rant!
