Hi! I got this info from a member here, ladygeek, when I asked for watchsmith info.

For rep friendly watch smiths, there's Mang Andy, but he's been sick lately and only goes to his shop in Makati Cinema Square sometimes. Might not be good if you're just visiting.

There's also Mang Loy in Pasig, but his shop is home based. 09162053949

On display are the cheap ones 4-6kphp, then they have what they claim to be VSF and Clean. Price ranged from 30k-40kPhp. Any thoughts? From reading the horror stories of customs, i was considering purching my first rep in greehills. Rolex Sub.

If you know what to look for to make sure they give you a clean or vsf, then go for it. I have recently bought a couple of watches from one of the TDs here. No issues naman sa customs. 2 separate purchases, 1 month apart.

I use PureTime. They have their own courier eh, you can email them to discuss the best option for shipping. Yung sakin pinapadaan pa nila sa SG. Mas matagal konti pero ok lang.

Try Jtime. Make sure you get the right link from RWI TD's section. Beware of scammers.

Just texted Lloyd (Mang Loy's son). According to him, Mang Loy can service a 4130 movement. I asked for a quotation for servicing. I'll post his quote here if anyone's interested.

timecheckph quoted me 15k for overhaul, cleaning, and etc. It takes a week to service the watch.

Saw common question here where to buy reps and saan safe. I would like to share my experience mga boss.

1. I only tried Jtime - Li (sales person) & Lana (after payment sya na makakausap nyo). Please check TD section para di kayo mascam
2. No problem so far in my 4 orders sa customs
3. For those who are asking gaano katagal, it depends sa item na bibilhin nyo - if new release and hot item sya, possible 3 months or more (example 5712 v2 replica movement). Pero normally tumatagal lang ng 3-14 days.
4. All of my orders are straight sa bahay. No problem. No additional payment upon receiving.
5. Buy nyo lang yung kaya nyo i-live with yung flaws. Remember reps pa rin tong mga to. Walang timbangan or caliper na dala yung mga kausap nyo. Normally mga boss nasa nagdadala yan. Be sure to buy yung pasok sa salary / lifestyle nyo.
