Obviously the factories don't care about integrity, it's an illegal business afterall.
I think this is generally true for the rep industry overall, but I don't know if it's the case with the "noob factory." More than any other manufacturer they have a reputation for consistently producing highly accurate, high quality (though QC issues still abound) watches. They have a lot of value built up in their name, and cater heavily to a relatively discerning niche with watches like this, so they have an incentive not to do stuff like throw old, inaccurate dials in with a batch of new watches lest people not go all batty every time there's a new noob release in the works.
Who knows how or why it happened, and I agree that it's relatively insignificant (I own lots of pams, and would never have noticed), but it didn't go unnoticed. If people reject their QC pics because of this (which I think they have a right to do),I expect they will take notice.
