Do you guys think that WSO crystal for pam212 would fit Pam233 and Pam270? I have both and I would like to get new crystals for them as I really like the watches, are the sizes comparable?

Thanks guys

Since they are all 44mm Luminor 1950 models, the likely answer is yes.

How hard is it to install the crystal yourself? I've never taken apart a watch before, but I definitely want to do this mod. Any help you could offer would be amazing, and I'll be more than happy to text you naked pics of all my ex girlfriends.

It is not very difficult as long as you have the proper tools. Definitely not for the faint of heart or the someone new at it, and you really should have a proper sized press. It's like I always say, don't screw around with a watch unless you are prepared to live without it.

That looks very good!!

This is my 127, it has an upgraded crystal in it as well, altough i'm unsure if it's a WSO.

Just out of curiosity, how is the crystal changed? Movement removed?

Noob 127E is front loading, so no need to remove anything else but the bezel and crystal. Put them on the press and remove the old crystal carefully making sure not to damage gasket, then install the new crystal carefully and slowly making sure again not to damage the gasket.

My Fiddy is leaving tomorrow to go visit Marlin for some wonderful little under the hood corrections and while there I can't resist having the WSO crystal installed...I just can't believe the difference that crystal swap makes...

Not bad ladies but sorry Franken Fiddy still owns the the seas
Gen crystal so you can all nitpick it versus the various noob versions
Gen bezel
Gen movement
Gen red case gasket milled and installed by the king, Ziggy
Gen Crownguard (noob is still way off, nice try though)
Noob mid case and caseback
EL crown
Gen dial
Gen hands
Gen lug screws
Gen Burgundy Xl strap
Have fun with your rep versions they look nifty :) :)
See the movement pic with the bag of metal filings? Ziggy sent that back with the watch its the metal removed from the noob mid case in order to seat the Noob case gasket. See The Noobs are wildly unsuccessful at passing pressure tests out of the box, plus if you are gonna go Franken gaskets count as much as a dial or anything else
Thanks to Ziggy, Rex, Watchmeister, PeteM, Projectologist, M3AMG, Nakor, Cube, W0lf, Mattusss, Jidonsu , and the rest of the gang who helped me get this finished once and for all. I've had her for a few years now but seating the case gasket finisher her off.
