I think mine is good to go! It looks like the "2" is not an issue at all on this.

Was a little concerned about the depth of the engraving at the back but I think it is the angle. Thoughts?

This is from Ryan btw... what a dealer, he has been A+ so far!

Went for the rubber strap as I'm going to get a decent leather one anyway!

EDIT

Also noticed the cannon pin looks a little washed. Maybe it is the lighting but compared to the case it looks a bit dull.

I also just noticed the incabloc is completely straight. Normally it is Y shape and the gen is rounded. New units?

:) the Y-shaped incabloc would be normal for a gen. If you read a little more into this model as well as the movement that it comes with you will see that the standard rep version of this comes with a straight incabloc.

some TD's do offer the mod. Also there are some modders on here who offer this service. Yours is currently a standard rep incabloc.

Dial is OK

Incabloc is right for a replica, no Y shaped in standard replicas
CP seems good, of course not as shinny as the case set, it is normal

Engraving depth, impossible to say with this pic

I didnt want to start a new thread, just a quick question, how waterproof is the PAM111, as in if it gets rained on, in the shower or light swimming?

I'm pretty sure a little rain or water/piss when going to the bathroom should be fine but I wouldn't shower or swim with it on unless you get it tested. Just take it off before you shower man...

Hi guys, anyone did a gen vs 111v3 comparison? Maybe can you direct me to the direct page?

I am actually on the fence if a Gen 111 is worth buying, knowing that there are super rep close to gen-like.

do some research..there is a sticky that has all the info you will need..

a few major problems would be the correct screw length and y incablock and maybe the "i" is a little lower

If you are searching for a thing like a gen watch without considerations of future value, it is no worth to buy a gen. You will get an almost perfect replica of PAM 111 for less 300$. In practice it will be the same to your eyes and other eyes.

If you are looking for a future value, the gen will keep value and the rep will have almost zero value in some time.

Just that

Thanks Ale! You just made a difference to my decision. 111v3 here we go.

Btw, I have read somewhere here that you can request Puretime to fix the incabloc and screw length? Or did I misread it.

Best way to order from Puretime is through his website? Since I don't see any option for the incabloc mod etc.

Hi radical

PAM 111 V3 is one of the best rep ever made. You will not get disappointed.

If you get a PAM Noob factory like the V3 you can ask Puretime for incabloc modd (only for Noob watches):
Here you have the link to order and info:
http://puretime.co/product/panerai-swiss-eta-6497-2-y-incabloc-shock-protection-system-mod/
Puretime doesn't change the screw AFAIK.

If you are looking for a Incabloc modd this is the best and real way. Becuase Puretime Incabloc is a gen part.

Hope someone can chime in.. How are these wheels from this donor mvmt? Look closer to gen? Reckon i can swap them into the 111 to do the wheel mod?

IMO these wheels are much worse than Noob ones (and even H maker ones)
They seem not beveled

Hey guys,

I have some concerns about this 111n.

1) This CP seems polished but not flushed (slightly domed?)
2) The pin on the CG seems like there is a gap, but it is recessed (more like gen?)
3) The swan neck screw looks long! (good)
4) on the movement the OFFICINE C looks like there is a gap and PANERAI looks off

Hey guys,

I have some concerns about this 111n.

1) This CP seems polished but not flushed (slightly domed?) They all have a slight dome none are perfectly flush
2) The pin on the CG seems like there is a gap, but it is recessed (more like gen?) I think when it arrives it will be perfectly flush, probably lightning between the polished head of the pin and the brushed crown guard
3) The swan neck screw looks long! (good) I've included a good pic of mine, looks about the same IMHO .

Hey Roger thanks for the reply!

As for the CG pin, my previous 111 was slightly raised this one seems a little recessed

Everything I see is fine, and no reason to reject bud, your dealer pics aren't the best, and as you can see from my movement pic the movement as is, is fantastic.
