Have someone heard that the KW is updating the movement for this watch? My TD said that my watch is delay because KW is updating the watch.

Hello, Sora....are you saying the 388's that will be in stock in a few days could have an updated movement to the 7750?
I was going to order this today, but am very interested in any updated version.
Thanks for keeping us updated!

We will talk about "upgrading" (?) to A7750 from Seagull ST2555

KW needs to update the quality of the lug screws and threads, and this is exactly what they are making to update the watch.

Seagull is a better movement than A7750 , but it is a bit noisy (some times) and mainly is hard to get it with continuity from the supplier. Most likely this is the reason for the change

But the main update will be to fix the lug screws issues IMO

KW PAM 388 and PAM 505 fitted with Seagull will pas to be collectible and searched items (I have got both fortunately)

Hahaha...!

Thanks Ale for the quick clarification....

I was about to jump in with questions...

I was under the impression that seagull was a better movement but the previous post got me confused..

I too got the 388 . Fantastic watch (although my 351 from Ryan has better lume!)

I have one problematic lung ( both screws are messed up)...

Do your 388 or 505 have also problem in the lung screws?

PS: Is the seagull easy to recognise or distinguish from the open case back with decoration?

The Seagull is better but it is no easy to get it with continuity from the supplier. Besides sometimes is noisy (not always). Most likely KW has been obligated to make the change to A7750, just like other makers, actually no problems

It is very easy to spot a Seagull, because the balance wheel is placed @6.

Fortunately I have no had problem with my screws, but I was attentive and used a good screwdriver of 1,6mm and I was very careful

Interesting, but isn't the balance wheel completely misaligned vs the gen with the 7750 movement? I wonder what prompted kw to make it with 7750.

Hope v2 fixes lug issue.

You have seen a balance wheel @11 like in all 7750 movements !!!

The balance wheel is exactly in the same position of all decorated P.9000-like movements fited with A7750. There is no solution, if the 7750 has the balance wheel @11 you cannot change it.

As commented in previous posts:

- KW had to update the quality of the lug screws and threads, and this is exactly what they are making updating the watch to V2.

- Seagull is hard to get with continuity from the supplier, besides it is a bit noisy (some times). This is the reason for the change, but it is better movement than A7750

Then the main update is to fix the lug screws issues, and this is the most important

ALE

NOTE: IMO KW PAM 388 and PAM 505 V1 fitted with Seagull with balance wheel @6 will get to be collectible and searched items in the future (I have got both fortunately)

First...THANK YOU, Ale, for all you do for us and your great advice and work!

I have confirmed with Alen at KW that they still have the v1 with Seagull in stock, and have sent payment.
Haven't confirmed the order yet as I'm trying to decide if its better to go with the lesser movement version or the possible lug screw issues version. I don't mind buying new screws from Panatime...but a stripped case, now, that's a real problem.
Mehmet's website shows the Fiddy now in stock, but haven't confirmed this yet...maybe that's what to do until all this is worked out. Bought a new 26mm strap for the 388, but it will also work great on the Fiddy! :)
Going to check your 127 reviews now...

I had the same dilemma and I decided to go for the seagull movement...
