Can you use a regular 24/22 deployant strap on these or will it be too short and show?

Actual strap width for Rad is 27mm but 26mm fit nicely too. It will show a lot of the lug bar and don't really look nice if you use a 24mm strap.

Apparently lug screws holding strap not the best. What are they like on the 505?

I sent Li the WU payment for the 388 on Sunday, and still don't really know what's going on with my order... Are they shipping them out yet?

27mm looks good on a 47mm pam, but 26mm should be perfect for a 45mm pam surely?

Ohh so tempted on picking one of these up:spank: Is the cannon pin recessed on your picks Bonesey or is it just the lighting?

I think it might be. Not that it will bother me much. Perhaps there's no higher cps for this movement.

All the other pics I've seen have flush Cp, as I said it might be lighting

Quick question for the experts: when I google for images of the pam388, what I get back looks like the font and DW are all white. However based on my pics and the qc pics ppl have posted, the font and DW are the patina color.
Given kw's attention to detail I'm thinking I'm somehow wrong here, but what's the story? Is this a version thing?

Many new versions of gen PAMs have the DW and the inscription creamish. KW get gens to manufacture its watches and is proud of the colour of its inscriptions like new gen PAMs

It is the same story many times discussed here about PAM 312 inscriptions. They are made with a real gen as sample owned by Mehmet KW owner.

My 388 arrived yesterday and it is pretty good rep. I was lucky enough to play with a gen at my AD recently and I have the following observations:

1: Case shape and engravings are very good
2: Dial and lume are very good, clean, clear with strong lume
3: Rep strap is very good, quite gen like in feel.
4: Strap lug screws only reall problem. Wont unscrew, making strap change near impossible. On a positive, they wont fall out though :)

I also have the 288K and used this as a build reference. The build quality of the 388 is every bit as good as the 288 with the benefit of a much better rep strap.

In my opinion the Pam 388 is a Very Good boardering on Super Rep.

My 505 is due any day now, will be interesting to see them side by side.

I was waiting a week or so to comment on the lugs, which is always a weakness with rad reps. I have a 288k as well and my biggest disappointment about it is the lugs not holding after a few hours on the wrist, despite it being one of my favorite reps.
But I agree with your assessment. With the exception of the obvious differences in the movement, this is nearly a super rep.
I was actually thinking of asking KW if they can give me a 45mm rad case for me to move dial/movement from the 288 into the KW rad case.
