Usually KW watches get a level of quality and gen-like appearance awesome, IMHO over other reps
Indeed PAM 388 is one of the best in this kind of reps like gens. You can feel and enjoy them almost as a gen
I think this is not a subjective statement, consult all KW PAM 388 owners and you will get the same opinion

Ale, i absolutely agree with you, the KW PAM388 is an amazing high level rep and has the gen-like look and feel.
I have her since one month now and love her - she's a keeper and gets a lot of wrist time!

Regarding the 505. How good is the DLC coating. Does it wear off in daily use? Any user experiences on that?

Coating is harder than SS and it is almost like ceramic. If you don't hit it, because it is a bit fragile (but less than you think) DLC will last for many years without damages or use.

Thanks to you Ale, I also purchased a KW 388, and am so happy I did.

Don't know if you remember the thread I started, but I was torn on whether to order the 380 or the 388.

Members chimed in about the gen-like feel of the 388 and you guys were totally right - the watch is simply stunning.

I don't see how a gen could be much better - just an amazing timepiece from Kuvarsit.

Just compared first pictures with a7750 with new ones - the movement markings are too bold in Seagull versions...
Disappointed!

Hard to pick between the 388KW and 505KW which one would you recomand for a first Pam rep ? 388 looks more clasic and 505 sports wear. Guess the 505 is more original and an eye catcher... Difficult to choose between these two !

Yes I don't know why but Seagull decoration has a bit bolder fonts (at least first batches), but it is few noticeable and mostly in PAM 5050 with darkened caseback crystal.

I think price is less important than quality of the crystal. ZFac, as you can see in the review, has a white contour
