Also I agree with the service of this movement I think is almost a mandatory as the zfac v1 is now giving me some trouble but the power reserve on all versions seems to be garbage.

How garbage is the power reserve on kw v3? How many hours after a full day of wear ?
Mine lasts 12 hours max (if wore continuously and fully winded). If only regularly wore, I can say 5-7 hours tops.
So when I got back home at 10pm, put the watch at desk, tommorow morning at 9am the watch will be dead, and I have to work it out all over again.

Well all three PAM382's I've had (2ZF, 1KW) have had more than at least 24 hours power reserve and that is because the intervals between wearing each watch was that long.

Power reserve on my zv2 is bad off the wrist. However if I remove from my wrist and give it a good winding before sitting it down it's not too bad.

Mysterio, I consider you lucky to get 24hrs of power off the wrist. Are you sure they can do that? I mean like off your wrist 9pm, and then tommorow 9pm this watches still works?

Perry, how long can yours last off the wrist? Can it last night to afternoon? I really have no more energy to manually wind my watch when I got home after work, might as well throw away a watch that can't last until tommorow afternoon... Lol

I never timed it. I know no matter how long I wear the watch once off the wrist less than 10 hours and it stops. If I fully wind it certainly less than 24 hours....possibly 18 hours.

That would mean if you put your watch to desk at 9pm, you have to quickly wear the watch before 7am in the morning, or else this 'automatic' watch will die and you have to re-set it. LOL crap.

By fully wind it, you mean manually wind it, correct no?

I removed the watch from my wrist at 7PM and then wore it again at 5:30 this morning. Still running on time. :)

I wind it say 50-60 times. Obviously the rotor is just not doing its job while on the wrist. If you manually wind it you are bypassing the rotor and results are better. It could be very possible that if I wound the watch 100 or more turns its reserve would be as good as the other A7750 watches I own.

Guys, as far as I know by manually winding a 7750 you risk to break some gears if you're not very cautious.
Never thought of having those watches serviced since the PR is bothering you that much? :)

From what I´ve seen on damaged A7750 pictures and read about them, no mater how carefully You wind a non-serviced A7750 it will grind and wear several gears. The fine metal dust goes between everything inside the movement clogging it up, producing additional tear and wear on all other parts and by consequence the power reserve gets less and less until the winding gear teeth don´t wind any more because they are totally worn down. All this starts after the first full wind already - and it may have been previously winded by the TD. Solution is a full service.

I don´t wind any A7750 at all, never. They start to run when I pick them up and easily have a PR of over 12 hours, 24+ if on the wrist longer.

Since I've got the new 508 with great build quality and the 569 seems to be a great rep as well, im wondering if there will be an update to the 382 regarding the fit and finish of the watch...

508 is superb in my eyes and my zf 382 v1 is not as polished and well made as it could be comparing to the new reps...

what do you think? any rumours maybe?

Well, I'm hoping KW will get the bezel edge correct next batch. Then I'm on it. But I thought that last batch. Who knows?

I've seen some gen photos without those bezel edges (maybe the patina wore them out?) so it's not the end of the world.
