To just think that one of the oldest and most expensive horology houses in the world can be rep'd with success and that can be enjoyed by the enthusiasts is mind-blowing.
In Switzerland, there are laws to follow in order to carry the mark "Swiss" and "Geneve". Try to google it before you LYAO. Others, at least one known Korean company have tried that, and the result ain't pretty when they got busted.
Does anybody know if a replacement movement can be easily sourced for the A324? Aliexpress came up with a goose egg and I haven't found anything on eBay either. I'm trying to figure out how at risk this movement is for exploding calendar change or any of the other push buttons and then being toast because we can't source parts for it
Talk to a TD, the engraved version of 324 SC is still available in the market at around $500.
Yikes, just for the movement? That feels steep when the whole watch is 538ish through TDs.
