Hi Folks,

I just received QC pictures for Clean v3 Daytona. The watch looks OK but it seems lime 3'O and 6'O markers are both crooked. The hand on one of the subdials looks white whereas hands on the other 2 subdials are black. When I checked with my TD he said it is just the reflection of light that is causing the hands to look different. Is that correct? Also the SELs are not aligned properly, causing little holes. Please refer to the highlighted areas on the photos. Are these faults acceptable or am I just being too pedantic. Shall I RL this and request the TD to source another watch?

Thanks in advance.

The markers are just light. Now the Sels are crap. It could be just low quality spring bars OR a SEL issue.

Markers are misaligned on many QC photos I have seen. I got the 6 o'clock (seems to me the most common) fixed quite easily by my watchsmith.

There are more than a few aftermarket options now, which aren’t getting a lot of air time for some reason. I’d be interested to hear what some of the members think:

I’d be more interested in a black dial.

Are these superior to the CF dial? It looks like they don’t suffer from the misaligned 6 o’clock marker that a lot of CF currently does.

I would RL that.
I had been through 5 QCs with Eric from GeekTime, all featuring the crooked 6, waited a month for the next batch. QC #6 was no better so I greenlit.

That’s good news! When I get mine I do intend on sending mine to my watch maker for service and hopefully he can straighten this damn 6 marker. This is my greenlit QC, post Deep-xtal swap.

Hello guys, i am new to forum. I rly like the rolex panda and since they are impossible to get at ADs i was thinking of replica, which of those is best quality and reliability wise which is most important to me, i read on redit that on clean secons hand can get loose and basicly make chrono unusable? Also water resistqnce enough for some pool activities?

If you read this forum you will find all the answers to your questions 😊
There don't seem to be any problem with the seconds hand being reported by our members

Hey , thanks for posting this. I bought a daytona v3 from theonewatches that has a slight misalignment on the 3.6.and 9 which I didnt really notice until I got the watch in hand. You can see my post here:

Based on what your saying, what do you think about my watch? I was going to sell it and off and try to get a better one from another TD but it looks like these problems are quite common if you went through 6 different watches already (wow). Thoughts?

So its a known issue that CF daytonas have alot of misaligned markers?
I am considering selling mine off and getting another as I dont have a watchsmith who can realign the markers, but scared to get a worse version

Your watch is good enough. I'm 100% sure you will have more or different problems if you try to get another one. I can't see any issues with your markers worth mentioning about. Just use it as is.
