I’m wondering myself what’s the deal is.
in the Chinese info for the watch it says titanium case and bezel.
i actually like that new Pam 45mm with micro roster.
it also says titanium case, bezel and buckle.

I repleid to Jennifer at pt to verify with the factory. I realy want this to be titanium. Love the 45 as well but been waiting for a 42, guess i will buy both anyway????

I got this specific info from VSF about that new 45mm Pam729.

“
The case of the VS Panerai 729 watch is made of frosted titanium, with a diameter of 45mm, which belongs to the large diameter. The details are very finely processed, and there is basically no false eye.”

it would be crazy if they lied about material of the case.

I’ve seen so many inaccurate info on TDs webpages over the years that I feel like they sometimes put whatever comes to their mind - inaccurate description of the movement, inaccurate measurements of the watch, inaccurate material of the case... and so on.

That’s why it’s good to double check with TDs on their info they put online.

they make mistakes with their info and also with what they send to people. A month ago I ordered noob Pam005 but I received noob Pam111 v5. And this is not the first time I received wrong watch after accepting qc.

I don't think they make their own advertising text. I've come across descriptions that are the same across different TDs. If a TD just copied another TD's text, we'd certainly hear of it. As for your issue with receiving a PAM111 instead of a PAM005, that's a completely different matter altogether.

I’ve been told that VSF has 11 new “master watch smiths” with approx 20 years of experience of watchmaking each. They are supposedly teaching VSF how to replicate Panerai watches.
there will be many more new pams from VSF.

I got info that they replicated p4000. Pam927 should be first Panerai rep with microrotor.
