clasp seems to be stainless steel but sandblasted. Weight is the almost the same as per stainless steel clasp of PAM 299.

I found the piece thankfully and note the lug unscrews itself, any recommendations on what to use to stick it back down??

Good quality two components resin glue will do. Search for "ceramic" and "metal " on description.

My PAM438 is on the ship right now, so should be getting it this week! :woo:
BUT... I've never had to adjust a bracelet before and I don't even have the tools to do it.
So I want to pre-emptively buy what I need and get it all ready so that I can get it on the wrist ASAP.
Can someone please tell me what I need to buy? (Just a standard chain link pin remover or is there a specific size?)

You've got a couple of options -- you can get the twist and turn link remover, a set of link removal pliers, or trust yourself with a slotted blank, punch and mallet. Make sure you have a good set of pliers, as mine were pretty well stuck in there, so it'll take a little elbow grease and patience. Last option is to take it to a jeweler which is the fastest and cheapest.

I would suggest just taking the bracelet to the watchsmith to get it resized. Unless you're going to use the resizer tool frequently (which is apparent that you don't since you do not have it yet) and you may need to hammer the pin out, which may be dicey if you don't know what you're doing. You're going to need to do this only once, when you resize the bracelet for your wrist.

Any idea, suggestions of what tool can be used for the screwed in ceramic bezel?

Ok watchsmith route sounds good, thanks. Are there any in London that anyone can recommend who work on Reps?

We are very fortunate that the factories resumed ceramic reproduction on PAMs after the poor-selling (now cult) 292s.

J, Mr. 7750, do you think it's possible to replace the 24h GMT wheel with a 6h wheel?
I just know the A7750 from the AP's. I have never seen a 7750 with GMT.

I have worked on the 7750 GMT system on the PAM 88. I would not replace this system. The transfer pinion looks alot like "your little friend" the oscillating pinion 60s on the chrono A7750s: it is solid, but the surrounding gears loose teeth easily. I would rather invest time in getting the faux decorative escapement moving somehow, as otherwise it looks pretty stupid. That decorative escapement and the faux balance cock is the only thing keeping me from buying this black beauty.

just some lucky experience with my 438: it gained 1 second (!) for last 7 days... rock solid and incredible... the movement in 441 is "regular rep movement" gaining +/- 5 seconds a day for random reason.

+/- 5 seconds is actually pretty good! Almost COSC!:D

Received mine yesterday together with the latest 441 and 386, all KW.
Theceramic Pams are awesome in the flesh!
This 438 from the 2nd batch of production according to my dealer. Seems to have no revisions yet. Took some closeups for those interested.

Can't stand this cannon pinion. It's a big tell. A shame for such a gorgeous watch.

I wonder if there is any difference between v6 and kW for this piece.

mysterio mentioned that there are?

somehow I am inclined to believe kW has a better QC??

V6=kw
It is the same watch from the same maker. Recently Angus (Puretime) began calling this maker v6, hence the double name.
