What is it exactly you've broken?
It seems excessive to buy a new bracelet because of a link.Link bracelet mate. Ceramic have the same scratch resistance as sapphire, but when you apply enough force in one blow it will breaks.
Hi Ale I am a newbie but wanting to know if you have heard of anyone making this one water resistant?
Just received my 438 from Toro.
This is the first rep I have purchased from a TD and I am delighted with it.
I contemplated removing some links myself but the smallest screwdriver I have seems a fraction too big and I don't want to force it.
Will wait until I see the local watchmaker later in the week.
Thanks mysterio and Norrie. When I read the bracelet was a bitch, I took it to a watch smith and didn't even try.
Hi guys, i cant remove the lug screws of my pam438. Seemed to be stucked. Can't turn the screws. Any advice?
Is it the first time you've done it or you've removed them before and now you can't remove them? Both lug screws or just one side?
Well, it is possible you're both just worried about turning the lug screws too hard and the screws are glued using a weak thread locker. It does resist unscrewing, but putting a little more effort should break the adhesive and you'll be able to remove the lug screws.
But if you're really afraid to do it, ask a rep-friendly watchmaker to remove the screws for you.
I received a 438 recently (very happy!), but when I tried to swap the bracelet for an asso strap, I discovered one of the lug screws was broken (turned but didn't come out). Mine was sent back to China for repair and all good now! [emoji4]
