Angus posted some more pics over at rg. I don't know if that's just me, but I -really- don't understand how people get so excited about that watch...
I mean, it's purple!!!
Don't get me wrong, I think the gen looks terrific, I love the brown color, but this?? How can you gather so much "wows" over a purple watch??

THE GEN IS LIGHT CHOCOLATE colored! Not "Purple" or pencil DLC.

I'm not on anyone's payroll. I like the GEN and saw that the rep was being released. Why am I excited ? It's a watch I want. After seeing a few more detailed pics it's clear that the color isn't even close. I'm sure most people here will also come to that realization.
Looks like I'll be waiting for th "ultimate" to come out.
So to recap;
305 = fail
Bronzo = fail
386 = fail
Remember these numbers? 111 112 288k all the new rads for that matter. Looks like if the movement can't be done 100% then the rest might as well be half-assed.
Wow, pretty bold statement on a watch thats not even out yet. Why dont we just wait until they get some better pics and see the watch first hand.
Again, have you seen the watch in person? No! Have you seen good pictures of the watch? No!
All the pictures are over saturated and poor at best.
I agree that the coating looks purple in certain areas of the caseback, however, that may be for several reasons and until I see the actual watch in hand I will not pretend to be any expert and claim to know how we arrived at this point.
Anyway, I'll say it again. We can all be experts and decide on exactly how this color came about and why it looks like it does. You're watching a black and white tv and trying to judge color, I could car less if this watch is nothing less than spectacular as I have ordered one and if it's really that bad atleast I got a decent ass strap out of the deal and I will flip the watch.
I've seen some better pics of the watch which reveals a more uniform look of the case. I also hope the lume is super luminova as claimed, its hard to tell from these pics KVW sent to me.
Its still really hard to judge from these pics as they seem darker, although the quality seems better than the ones on PT's site.

Some see purple, I see Pencil lead DLC color there.
Leaves lots of room for a 386 V1, 386 V2..

No need to be sorry, early adopters often enjoy them for what they are and move on to somthing better.
Some good advice i received when getting into reps is to be sure they are using the actual Gen when repping.

i dont know guys , im not changing my comment , i mean the watch looks really good , purple???? for real? i asked 2 more people, what color they think it is , both say like brown/black ,

Who said genuine fake watches? Sorry for assuming basic knowledge or independent thought.
Its like this, The best reps are made using a gen, they dissemble a Genuine watch and copy what they can, AKA reverse engineering.

As any factory came out and claim that they use genuine watch, or his it a commercial thing made up by dealer?

They are not EXACT but damn close, so close that i would bet anything they used the gen. Almost all the difference are on the dial and in the weight.
Do you think that is possible from photo?
I can tell you with certainty that a Gen 386 was not used making the rep.

Its lush, i have one and am in the market for another one. They get snapped up quick at 250 US.
If they can rep that im in like Flynn.

Its China mate, they copy everything and the good stuff is done with computerized copiers, forget the name but they can copy any physical thing that can fit in the machine.
Most have all seen it on The discovery channel and the like and yes, they have to disassemble it.
