PAM 382 Bronzo - QC Pics allowed Thread

My opinion...or a fact. the crown guard is wrong. no chamfered edges on the op and bottom. Look at a gen picture to compare. Tat would bother the hell out of me. Plus again...this is something I have always said from time to time depending on what batch of 382 you got that the color of the Bronzo is to yellow and or light. cold be the camera they use for QC pics too. Who knows. good Luck

Thanks guys. I approved them...besides, the conspiracy theorist in me says "who know if the watch I see in QC is even the watch I'll get shipped". I posed this in an older Rolex post and many agreed no guarantees we are getting the exact watch from the QC pics.

Anywho, I'm just excited to get this bad boy on my wrist!

A TD shipping out a watch which is not the same as QC would land him in a bit of trouble if it is easy to prove so no TD would risk that given the amount of business this forum generates. Its all about balance, from the seller as well as the buyer both have something in the deal

Just got a sole QC pic from Lucy. She returned the watch due to poor quality with the strap. But I feedback to her that the CG looks too off with a different color and here's hoping she replies positively in getting another one.

What do you guys think? Any help appreciated!

To me after seeing a Gen Bronzo and holding it in my hand the crown guard looks perfect in color and the rest of the case looks off. They have a rose look in the gen. These Reps are always a bit to brass looking. IMO. Some look perfect and others look off. I do know that camera and lighting make a difference when looking at these reps online. In this case I would get a watch that has a matching crown with the case. Plus the crown shape is waaaaay off if you ask me. The top and bottom do not have the cut out like the gen. take closer look at a gen if you can't tell. good luck. I really want this watch but seem to hesitate due to the inconsistent nature of each run.

Anyway I communicated to Lucy and now she responded with an updated CG. I think it looks pretty good to my relatively unexperienced eye but appreciate any comments if anything significant I should be aware of.

Really man? Look at those horrendous corners of the CG, whomever cut those must've been really drunk
Reject it immediately!!

Yeah man I agree with the comment before this. The crown guard corners are not cut out at all... Its like they forgot to pay attention to this small but significant detail. Personally I would reject this.

KW was producing a great Bronzo with correct cut outs but It varies version to version. Look at earlier version in this thread......but If you are up to it you could modify it yourself.

Just received KW ST QCs and wondering about the patina/finish. A bit more uneven than I've seen here in other pics--bezel hash marker area, etc. I'd likely strip and start over trying for a more even patina. Would this clean up nicely? Other issues?
