The one I uploaded is the best I can get too. For some reason, the light doesn't bounch of the crown and I am not getting focus.

If you notice the pic, right beneath the ridged circle and above the logo ... White spots probably 5-6. My fear is that they might get worse with manual winding.

I bought this from Toro. He said to me "watch looks perfect" ... I even asked him about the crown twice. He kept on saying its looks fine.

I see what you mean about the PVD coming off on the crown. It looks awful from the close perspective of your photo. Is it apparent from normal distances, say, more than a couple feet?

I also ordered a 292M from Toro, should be here any day now. Keeping my fingers crossed that my watch does not exhibit this problem. I didn't see anything on my QC pics. Did you happen to spot this when you reviewed your QCs?

So guys I received the watch from the TD. It's beautiful. There's an issue. You can see the PVD coating on the crown missing... Ita not apparent inside. But if you are outdoors, and you look you can see a white spots on the crown.

I wanna ask should I be reporting this to my TD or that's the best condition these super replicas come in.

^^^ shouldn't get worse, the PVD is pretty tough... I saw a tutorial on how to patch up PVD somewhere here or RG...

Nope I did not see this in my QC pics, Toro kept on saying that the watch is perfect and no coating is off. I specifically asked him about the crowd and the screws at the back.

Do you think I should ask him for replacement?

Personally, I would probably hang on to it; maybe try the fix jesseharmon mentioned. Unless it's very noticeable, I would probably try to avoid sending it back and the risks associated.

On another note, I requested the same strap you did. What's your opinion on it?

Wouldn't be acceptable in my book... Any way to take a more clear pic of the PVD? Which TD did you go through? You would think they would have caught that in QC process...

Sorry, i replied to the wrong message. I think for sure you are doing the right thing here. Could he send a new crown and you have someone swap it? Maybe that would be faster.

This is the latest pic I took from my iPad.
If you see the edge of the crown....you'll notice the white spots.

I have emailed Toro - will post what he says. I don't have the tools nor expertise to change the crown. I want him to respond... Before I say anything.

Toro responded and said "i didn't notice it".... He offered me $10 refund or send the watch back and he can refund my money since I am a "picky" customer.

I am annoyed cuz I specifically asked me him to check the crown after seeing the qc pictures.

I've decided to keep the watch cuz shipping will cost me 40 bucks and then I just get a refund of cost minus shipping.

I am not being picky cuz when I ask a specific question I expect the dealer to give me an honest answer. In this case - toro didn't check or give me an honest answer. Either way both of them are bad.

Sux man, never have gone through Toro, I buy through Silix, they are quick, priced well, and will take more QC photos or get a new watch if you are concerned about the one they got for you...

Good to know. This was my first and probably last order with Toro. For me it's about saying "sorry I didn't check, what can I do for you".... Rather than blaming me to be "picky" and acting arrogant for no reason. Especially when the dealer didn't answer what I asked him ....

Yes, this was ordered through Toro.

I reviewed my QC pics carefully, but after I heard about the issue with your crown, I looked at them again, with closer scrutiny. There was nothing I could fault in the QCs, although with the shallow depth of field, there were parts of the watch, such as the crown, that could have been more in focus.
