The lollipop second hand is clearly seen when Bond is using the alarm. I'd pull a screenshot if I could find it but it's 100% the lollipop.<br />

Yes, it is lollipop second hand in the movie. Confirmed.

No doubt. The lollipop hand can be seen very clearly in close ups of the watch in the movie, namely the scene where Bond is holding the watch in the Q lab and during the "loud alarm" scene in Morocco.

Anyway, I've just ordered the rep :) Now awaiting the qc pics..

I certainly hope so. Good thing I'm in Singapore and China isn't too far away so it won't go through too much channels in shipping. So I'm not expecting a delay. Hope I'm right.

I agree about the strap though. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to rep a good one. Gen Nato would be nice but I don't really want to drop $170-200 for one. You'd think that Nato would be easy to replicate too... At least compared to all the bracelets and other straps rep makers create.
Look at Omega's own commercial for the watch on their website, in the scene where Q gives him the watch you can see a pointed second hand. Not sure about the "alarm" scene, that was probably added in post.

How are you so sure? Coz to be fair, you can't really see it because of the reflection on the crystal. Pretty sure it's the lollipop second hand though judging by the smaller lollipop on the tail end of that second hand which is visible. The pointed arrow second hand from the regular SM300 has a different looking tail end.

The non Spectre SM300. Note the tail end of the second hand...

The Spectre.. Note the tail end on this one...

Plus it has the Spectre bezel without the lume dot and 0-11 numbers, and it has the Spectre dial so it's very unlikely to have the standard SM300 second hand.

Hey, new to these forums here. I just ordered mine from Trusty Time. Is there any way to modify the bezel to enlarge the inner stainless steel ring? Also, the colour of the lume is quite a giveaway on the rep. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Nice to meet a fellow Singaporean. Welcome aboard!

IMO, i'd stick with what the current rep looks like. Not worth the trouble to mod it etc. There is a V2 that is said to be coming out soon, but whether they fix the bezel or not remains to be seen.

Someone else already covered it but the reflection on the glass covers the tip of the second hand so you really can't see it anyway. But the lollipop is on the very tip of it with a very long gap between the head and the tail, whereas on the regular model the arrow starts much earlier and if it were the arrow on that watch you could probably see the base of it just before the reflection starts. That and as imranbecks pointed out, the tail of the second hand is clearly seen to be matching that of the lollipop's.

Anyway, I don't know about these rumours of Craig wearing the regular 300 during production (only heard about it here from one or two people), but it seems a little silly to me. Especially for the watch's prominent moments where it's actually seen. I think Omega would be able to get a prototype ready at the very least. I'm sure they knew what they wanted to do early on and had the right watch ready in time.

Looking sharp!

I'm waiting for my qc pics..

It's odd that no one has gotten it yet now that it's been over a week since it was made available. I guess not many got it on the release day. Hopefully we'll see a review or something within the next few days...

Haha thanks thanks. Also, I noticed Andrew from ttw8488.com isn't a trusted dealer here despite the good reviews he receives on other forums. Is there a reason why he isn't a TD? Also, should I be worried that I ordered my Omega SPECTRE seamaster from him?

I think he was once a TD on here too, for some reason he was removed. Nevertheless, ordered 2-3 times from him, he's a good guy - don't worry about your order! :)

Hi!

I fell in love with this watch, first time i saw it on an report to the film.
So i looked over and over for informations about this watch, knowing i never will have one in my live. Then i found sites, talking about replications of such watches. Searching further got me to this forum and this thread. Reading it over and over, it was clear, i will buy one, as soon as it is available.

My wife recognized my interrest for this watch and decided with my kids, that this would be my gift this christmas. So i ordered it yesterday at intime. The qc pictures and promotion pictures i saw until now are good enough for me, not to wait for an "eventually possible v2".

So i´m looking forward for my qc pictures too and look forward in best hope, to get my watch eventually until christmas day.
