This is a rep? You've already got one shipped? That's fast! Does the loom last for a while? The reports of the original version were that the loom was bad.

Just got confirmation from my TD that the factory will be doing another batch with corrected strap and bracelet in 2 weeks. I sent a follow up email to ask about the bezel. Hopefully that is changed also in the new batch. I had placed an order but I'm willing to wait two weeks since my efforts to find a gen strap have been futile.
Thanks for the info, may have to wait still then. Got to have it for Christmas though as Santa is buying it for me.
can anyone measure the lug width on this for confirmation please?

So the new bracelet will be 21mm? The current v6f bracelet is pretty awesome with the adjustable length clasp. If the lugwidth and bracelet are changing to 21mm, that's a huge difference. Will the nato straps have the OMEGA logos on the keepers?

The current one available is pretty good. But not exactly accurate. Flaws include the thin inner ring on the bezel, the placement of the numbers on the bezel, the PCL bracelet and a somewhat normal aftermarket nato strap with no omega markings. There is word that there will be a better version with updated bracelet and strap which will be released within the next couple of weeks. But i will believe it when i see it. For now, I'm ok with whats available as the flaws are pretty subtle and I'm fine with the PCL bracelet. I hope to get it soon.
I put my gen Omega nato on my rep Planet Ocean and realised it looks very similar to the SM300.. The strap looks great on the Planet Ocean. Will keep me company till i get the Spectre SM300 rep..

Looks like I'll be holding off. I haven't been able to get any definitive word from my TD on whether or not or not a "v2" is coming, but with these rumors swirling around it's worth a chance. The strap I can live with since I'll be buying a gen NATO, but the polished bracelet is kind of a dealbreaker for me.
But I'm excited to see the "real world" pics when they start popping up, though!

Which TD sells the best SM 300 at the moment? I think I'd enjoy this more than the Spectre version..
If you're in CONUS, try calling the nearest boutique and seeing if they'll ship to you. Chances are they'll have to order it anyway. I inquired about this for a gen buckle last year and the shipping was pretty steep ($25 IIRC) but I would have saved on sales tax since it was shipping out of state.
You could also try an Omega AD nearby. They should be able to order straps from the service center, but they may mark them up or charge to "install" it.
Just get it from any TD, this was the V6f from Toro. The diver is a perfect in-house homage to the vintage Seamaster 300 while I consider the Spectre to be a novelty and more of a "money-making" gadget for the brand. I would not say this if Omega had produced a true GMT watch with separate 24 hr GMT hand as a Spectre edition. But just a bi-directional bezel? And $175 for a Nato-strap with Omega-buckle? Nice, but only Omega (or Rolex) could get away with this kind of pricing
I bought a gen 20mm buckle for $35 on ebay a few months ago. Ill look and comment with the store purchased from.
This will be my next purchase. Just spectre! Before, I didn't like nato bands... It is grown on me!
