I think that is good, the simpler the 'clone' is, it should be more reliable and easier to regulate/service.

The position of a date corrector is not correct per gen neither, so it is not 1:1 clone anyway.

I’ve requested my TD try and source the movement for me, he said I’d be lucky if they’d sell it separately so soon after the release due to them wanting to sell watches but he’ll ask anyway I shall update with a response

Eta clone is for sure a safe choice, reliable workhorse Hi beat and cheap to service or to upgrade to Swiss. But I am curious about this one and I would like to see it dissected and studied by our forum experts.

I have one pcs hand on. Time working accuracy more better than P9000， about 3 second /day.

Sorry if your already posted it but I missed it somehow.. how is the power reserve in yours? Did you test it?

Just pulled trigger on the Specter version of the Seamaster. My dealer (im China) has confirmed that the new clone movement does not equip the co-axial escapement just like the gen 8500 calibers.

Ugh matey your last sentence seems to contradict itself. The gen 8500 is coaxial. If the clone-movement is not coaxial (and fair enough if it aint) then the clone movement can not be 'just like' the gen 8500... What am I missing boys?

Assuming the movement is stable, I think it could definitely qualify for super rep. The previous Spectre by V6F was on the NWBIG list. Whenever anyone gets their hands on the movement, can you post a video of a closeup of it running? Could give us a better idea of how much a 1:1 clone it is and whether the co-axial wheel actually does anything other than look pretty

Great to see nice clone 8400 8500 movement by vsf, but I just notice engraving on the movement is not real engraving, seem like just thick print on it, if its not really engraving, then I will wait for V2 to see if they are fix it, too bad they spend time and money but turm out this no engraving on movement, kind of disappointed. And BTW do anyone know the clone movement have same function like gen movement? Like set the date and time.
