Thanks mate. Spectre is not for me, but can't wait for PO and AT.
Also, the prices in the pre-order are very reasonable.
I hope they do the blue PO 8500 in Titanium this time with the new movement. We never had a decent rep of that in the 42mm. Aqua Terra's will be great too. Remember the low beat Miyota versions of 2014 to be super-reps.

BP 42mm TiPO was not bad at all, and it was titanium while V6F 42mm was steel. The teaser photo shows a new 43.5mm PO so I guess this will be their focus first.
With such a nicely decorated movement we can enjoy maaany good reps.

Actually i like what they did with the balance. It should be easier to regulate and it will be easy to tell gen/rep when you are on the market for gen.

Just read on ABTW. They share most of the architecture. The 8900 has modifications for better anti-magnetism and METAS certification.

Yes, the idea behind the architecture is the same. 8900 is a slightly taller movement (5.50 mm vs 5.30 mm for 8500), some 8900 parts have different size but that's nothing I would care in case of a rep movement. There are the cosmetic difference in a placement of the writing and the colour of 8900 balance wheel is more grey than black.
Since revision G the 8500 has the same anti-magnetism resistance as METAS standard, however 8500 movements never got the official METAS cert.
As V6F nailed 8500 decoration I am sure they can cope with a nice 8900 too.

Man this is awesome. Rep world making big strides in terms of movement complexity. We just got the 4130 that noob released and now an 8500.. Here's to hoping for the slim chance they put it in a 38.5mm Aqua Terra.

Are pre-order prices usually lower than the final price once watch is in stock?

Time for a decent moonwatch replica!! :xj4:

this is actually a 3-hand movement. unless they don't use a chronograph module on top of it there is no chance of a decent speedy. unfortunately.

yes I know unfortunately, but I'm sure if they replicate the moonwatch movement they will sell lots of them, maybe more than POs

sorry for the misunderstanding.

but as the development of the 8500 took 2-3 years i cannot imagine that we see a speedy movement anytime soon... But who knows, maybe there is something in the oven.
